Ha Giang Ecolodge

Ha Giang Ecolodge is a beautiful property with warm hosts and delicious food. It’s a peaceful retreat and excellent way to start or end your adventure throughout Ha Giang. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area. Everything was perfect. Thank you for the hospitality.

The facilitiy is lovely. There is plenty of space in the rooms and the balcony over looks the rice fields. The breakfast is cooked to order everyday and the owner and staff are very accommodating. We also had several dinners at the lodge as well and the meals were delicious. The whole place is super cozy. The owner also arranged transportation for us. Highly recommend if you are staying in the area to do the loop. The pool needed a really good cleaning.

2nd time staying here. The owner and staff were great. The hotel was compact but lovely grounds; with at least 6 cabins in its own little jungle. Each cabin is in a large, beautiful rustic style with high ceilings and a small balcony overlooking the rice fields. The beds are very comfortable. Breakfast was basic, omelette, crepes and French bread. Dinner was fantastic. There is no menu. It’s whatever they cook. 15 mins by car from town. You can sometimes hear people from other cabins if they’re loud

Gorgeous cabins nestled in lush gardens overlooking rice fields with a mountain backdrop. Owner and staff are incredibly nice and helped us with a lot of things. Spacious room with balcony overlooking the rice fields. It’s a good 10-15 mins out of town so inconvenient in that way but is made up for by the pastoral setting. Well worth the trade off. Food was fantastic and plentiful and very reasonably priced. I would stay here again in a heartbeat-in fact, we are staying there again after the Ha Giang Loop. Nothing

Awesome place in all respects from serene atmosphere, delicious daily meals, and a friendly , helpful staff to make sure you have what you need. Keep this place in mind for a stay before or after doing the Ha Giang Loop! You will be glad you did! Thanks again to the wonderful staff!

This was our most comfortable accommodation in Vietnam. Beautiful room, comfortable bed, excellent pillows, fridge, table and chairs for playing games. The view is unmatched! Food was delicious and varied each day. Staff were very helpful with everything- using Google translate. Owner speaks English and would get back to us on what’s app quickly and help us set up 1 day Ha Giang tour by car and then a driver to take us to Cao Bang with scenic stops. It’s a couple of miles from Ha Giang but there is a nice loop through villages, so we stayed near lodge.

Starting from the bungalows to the cleanliness, the hospitality, the delicious food the above and beyond service the safety of the place. I had an amazing time and I wish I had the time to extend it. It’s totally worth visiting. The view was amazing. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind. Nothing

An idyllic place in the middle of nature! We stayed in a lovely bungalow with stunning views – waking up surrounded by rice fields and the sound of roosters is a unique experience. The manager is incredibly kind, speaks fluent English, French and Vietnamese, and shares fascinating insights about local village life. The food is prepared with fresh ingredients from the village, and they even serve surprisingly good wines. Truly a place to recommend!

Really wonderful place to be, with a warm and interesting host, architecture and feel of a high-end retreat, and rural vistas. About the room … my son said “that has to be the most beautiful bathroom I’ve ever seen.” It has a small glassed in garden with light from above and feels like a rainforest. I only have one photo of the porch - where many conversations happen, but check out pictures posted by other guests. Breakfast was plentiful and scrumptious. They served their homemade orange jam (or marmalade) with pancakes, eggs, coffee, and exquisite deep-fried bananas. Really enjoyed chatting with the kind host Sang, who speaks French, English, Vietnamese, and more. What a lovely place and guy. ♥️ highly recommend !
