Quiet Location (nearby restaurants and temples) Tips about places to visit from the staff No hot water (not sure if it was me and I didn’t make it work)

Amit is a great host, so kind and helpful. Knows the place and full of suggestions what to do and where to go, he'll even join to show around. Or help to rent a scooty, book a train, recommend places to eat and such a great company!

The location, the terrace, the amenities, the rooms, reception is also welcoming. The terrace can be worked upon a bit, keeping some board games hands on. Also the bed linen and upholstery can be upgraded.

Convenient position. Staff very pleasant. Internet wasn't working. Water heater in the bathroom was tiny, so not great for showers.

Good location, near the Main Street. Helpful staff. Fast and steady WiFi.

Very friendly and kind owner who was helpful throughout our stay. Very affordable accommodation in a location within walking distance from the Western temples. Ample things to do in the area. Comfortable bed and consistent hot water in the shower. The room wasn't the cleanest and the pillows were very flat. This is not in the hostel's control, but the area around it can be very noisy, so be aware if you're a light sleeper!

Location In the heart of the city in the main market.

Close to temples No ventilation feels like jail cell And if you open windows there is unbearable attack of mosquitoes to have nightmares

Exceptional

The place is run by great people. They had a spare Deluxe room (with hot water geyser) and they upgraded us for free.

If you don't have plans when you arrive, these guys will sort you out. They will arrange transport, tell you where to eat, tell you what to see and where to shop. They got us tickets for a safari at the nearby national park and we saw a tiger in the wild!

Exceptional. It exceeded my expectations. Room was clean and up to my requirement. The Hostel is in the main main market. Perfect place to stay and watch places around. Mr. Amit the hotel owner/manager was very helpful. He guided us very well and helped us to get a vehicle to look the places around. The auto driver was also well aware of the places we wanted to watch, he was also very helpful. Overall it was a great experience. I highly recommend all, that please stay at Hostel Shiv Shakti whenever you visit Khajuraho cuz its budget friendly, clean, centrally located, staff is very helpful and guides you correctly. NA

Everything it's just top, comfortable bed witha new matresses , spotless clean , top location in the middle of the center with a temple view and an absolutlly wonderful manager who's going out of his way to make your Khajuraho staying a memorable experiece.

Super value for money. The staff was super helpful. I will recommend this hotel cum hostel to my friends. Some of the rooms have Indian toilets. I can use only western.

The stay was amazing and nearest to centre to visit!!! Even the caretakers were so considerate. They go beyond their comfort to help you . The room was amazing too, it's spacious and very cheep. Terrace and common area just adds to your stay. Thanks for such hospitality! Definitely recommended Nothing
