Would visit again great place to stay

We arrived ant north star lodge around 9 pm in the evening. Hotel staff, a little overwhelmed, had 3 people arriving at the same time checking in and it appeared to be that she was alone. She handed us roomkeys on the 5th floor where we would have had to take an elevator up to the 4th floor and carry the luggage we brought up a flight of stairs from that point. I was unable to carry my luggage up the flight of stairs and requested a room on a lower floor with elevator access. Clerk appeared to be annoyed. But did accommodate us on the first floor. Upon entering the room first thing was a huge stain on the rug in front of the mini fridge, tub was stained with soap scum, ceiling was crumbling and patio door was rusting. Room look nothing like the picture online. And to top it all off, 11:30pm we were woken out of a sound sleep with the sound of several children running and jumping off the beds pretty much screaming at each other and thought they were going to come thought the ceiling at times and sounded as if they were gonna come into our room! We contacted the front desk. They advised that they were "on it" but the noise continued well into midnight. Needless to say, I will never return and would not recommend this property.

Clean rooms!! The heated pool was amazing and so dreamy at night! The bar lounge was exemplary! Definitely will be staying there again!

The room was nice and so was the pool . We went up to bar that said 5 to 9 3 people were sitting at the bar we sat down and waited for several minutes nobody came out to greet us or ask us what we wanted . So we left plus it was really hot up stairs didnt seem like Ac or anything was on . Not happy about that we had to go out for a drink .

We mostly liked the place. Receptionist very nice, smart, funny. Breakfast is poor. Room is hot and you can't make it cool despite the outside temperature being very cool. Except of course with AC.

Location was great, room was clean but dated. The common areas were comfortable and inviting. Bathroom had a white residue above the shower stall around the perimeter. The drywall on the ceiling was falling apart in the bathroom. We were told the pool was heated but the heater and filter system were off when we tried to swim.

We really enjoyed our stay. The suite was very spacious, and we loved the heated outdoor pool. The hotel is a little dated, but it offers great value and a very convenient location with views of Killington ski resort. We were very satisfied and would definitely stay here again!
