Most things, very relaxed atmosphere, nice room, no feeling of pressure to abide by hotel rules. My wife loved the Spa! I wondered if the main courses at dinner were fresh, or defrosted (high quality) and made to look original by the Chef. Also I felt that the wine menu was a bit the personal taste of the hotel wine buyer. To me they seemed to be selected for their musty taste, which I found overpowering. Standard white wines such as Pinot Grigiot were not offered. Breakfast should have been included in the booking price

The restaurant food was exceptional both evenings we stayed, We were actually shocked to eat food at a standard normally reserved for top end restaurants in London. This alone would make me return!

The location was great, the facilities were superb, evening meal was fantastic and the breakfast was delicious and to top it off the staff were amazing Nothing. We really enjoyed it

The staff in all departments were very good. Polite & attentive. Faultless The breakfast selection was good, the English breakfast I thought, could have been better though. Excellent views over the orchid from the cabins, amazing to wake up to. The price for a start. I've stayed at better hotels for a lot less. Our cabin was a bit tired and grubby in places. The shower needs a good scrub, the bath inside was very grubby, and the bathroom floor needs re-grouting. The TV screen looked ruined when off, very greasy & smeary. The level of luxury doesn't match the price in my opinion The spa needs a refurb, the changing areas felt like a cheap gym, the pool area looks and feels like it needs freshening up.

Great Location. Lovely house. Excellent Gardens - very well designed, planted and maintained. Spacious room with direct access to the garden. The bathroom, whilst a good size, definitely needs updating. Overall colour scheme a little drab.
