Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Kingsland Naval Base I-95

Stayed multiple times but I think I will try another hotel next year as the rooms here are getting more and more run down. Our room this stay smelled of mold or something

Toilet ring of poo

The room was clean, the staff was friendly, the coffee was good. It would be nice to see some dairy free and gluten free options, especially since all of the other choices where prepackaged. It was great being able to bring our golden retriever with us because most hotels want the animal to be 30lbs or less. Staff was great with her also. It would be nice if the areas outside were patroled for garbage. There were 4 hotels in this particular area, all close together, and 3 of them, including ours, had trash lying around. Other than that we had a great stay.

Bathroom was filthy bed was comfortable. Hotel was very noisy. Slamming stairway door lasted till 2am. It was not a comfortable nights rest. Do not recommend.

Internet was horrible. TV had a black line down the middle. Was not the cleanest!!

Well apportioned room with 2 queen beds and contemporary lighting and desk and night stand . USB ports in stations, well functioning mini fridge.

Other than that, the staff were very kind and accommodating.

Third, the room was not noisy I barely heard anyone outside of my room which is what I was hoping for. You don’t hear carts in morning & people going by… The breakfast was ok not the best… waffles were good, but eggs were not so good… they have fresh fruit like peaches & apples… toast, muffins, bagels… and the best drink choices- Milk, apple and orange juice and coffee if that’s your thing… I loved the fact that they had a hot tub and pool & definitely enjoyed that while I was there .. and the room and property is clean!’ Can’t beat the price and location was ideal because it’s close to cheap gas, food places & shopping.. also a nearby dog park if your dog needs to run around

The staff was kind

The staff was friendly and helpful! We were very satisfied with the comfort of our room but we had terrible time with the operation of our tv. We asked for a few wash clothes because of the heat. Housekeeping was awesome! And what can I say about that Breakfast Bar!!! AWESOME

The carpet was gross and the pool was 115 degrees.

The room smelled like mold when I walked in. I had a handicap room, which is very accommodating for us that need it. If they just took a little bleach to the tiles around the handrails in the bathroom, they could get rid of that mold more than likely . the breakfast was good and the lady worked very hard keeping it stocked up! I slept great. The bed was comfortable.

For a short stay

Room was okay for a night but pillows were lumpy, broken shades that let the lights from parking area in. Didn’t feel completely safe walking around the area of the hotel at night. On the bright side, staff at the desk were super friendly.

The pool could have been cleaner

We felt that this property reflected exactly what we are looking for in an overnight stay with road travel. While the rooms at Microtels are small, they make very good use of space. Everything was spotless, the bed was comfortable, the shower was good, and the breakfast perfectly adequate. We will not hesitate to stay here on future trips.
