Our family of four loved Country Inn no Mori Gorilla. The couple that run the hotel were so gracious and welcoming. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the meals were outstanding. We really enjoyed talking with our hosts, and they treated us like special guests. The surrounding countryside is beautiful, despite some rainy weather while we were there.

The hotel is a very cosy, clean and charming place with lots of characters. The host, Mr Gorilla-San, and his wife made us feel very welcome. He is a great chef himself, and we enjoyed the tasty 5-course dinner very much. The breakfast served in the morning was equally good in presentation and taste. The hotel is well placed for hikers and skiers to explore the nearby mountains and ski resorts. Would love to stay there again in the near future. Nothing

Unique and lovely place to stay. Owners were so kind and helpful. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. We are so glad we stayed there instead of hotel for the last night of our trip. Such a lovely and enjoyable experience!

Breakfast was amazing. Everything was delicious that we wanted more. The room is quite small (for 3 people) but it's manageable and as expected from Japan.

Everything but first of all the incredible kindness of the owners. They really deserve the compliments written by their guests. The place is also cozy and the food delicious (even with a vegetarian option for our daughter). Nothing. No wifi but we didn’t care !!!

The owner, Suzuki-san and his wife were very kind and friendly. We arrive at their hotel late and did not reserve dinner. Sadly all the restaurants in the area were closed. Suzuki-san was so kind he gave me and my family each a small dinner of rice with meat and veg to eat, free of charge. He and his wife prepared a very delicious and healthy breakfast for all of us in the morning. His hotel is like a beautiful country home. Very quiet and relaxing. Nothing. Everything was great.
