Aktiv Hotel Schweizerhof - Kitzbühel

The location couldn't be better, right across the road from the Hanenkam lift, and literally at the end of the ski slope. The ski room is 20 meters away from the snow. Just perfect. Nothing to report here, overall a very pleasant stay.

Just suprised that a 4 star hotel with relatively high rates is charging (no matter the price is) for slippers?

Fantastic location and silent room with bucolic views over the mountains and slopes. Two nice private terraces to relax - weather permitting. Excellent breakfast full of choice. Friendly and accommodating staff always happy to help. So close to the old Town it’s a privilege! Nothing really to specify

Aktivhotel Schweizerhof Kitzbühel has an excellent location, right in front of the A1 Hahnenkamm area, with very easy access to the gondola. The rooms were also very comfortable; we stayed in a Family Room and had a great overall experience. The hotel was clean and the staff was almost always very helpful. Our whole family tried the massage services. They weren’t bad, but they weren’t outstanding either. just average. so it’s good to set expectations. Another point that could be improved is the breakfast seating system. Each room had a designated table, but ours was in a dark corner at the back. Even after mentioning this on the first day and kindly requesting a brighter table closer to the windows, we were given the same table again on the second day. Only on the last day were we offered a table outside the breakfast room (which we appreciated). Still, I don’t think fixed table assignments are ideal and it would be great if this could be more flexible.

Staff, facilities and location

The location was very good, breakfast was excellent, fresh and on time. They even opened the buffet 30 min earlier just to let us have the breakfast to catch our eatly flight. The Staff was very helpfull, provided all necessary information and tools needed. One key to access rooms, parking garage, main entrance, and ski room, very convenient. Hotel was very close to the center of the town, 3 mins to walk. It was a quite holiday. Thanks.

The ski in ski out properly was ideally located and made it easy to store the items and recover from an active day with the use of the sauna I wasn’t a fan of the cold temperature pool but maybe that’s how others like it

Breakfast was excellent with lots of options and everything was super fresh. Location was super convenient, right by the train station as well as the gondola and walking distance from the village center. Everything was wonderful.

breakfast was fantastic, spa and pool area were very nice, location was super close to the lifts, end of piste and Hahnenkammbahn train station and close to restaurants and bars. Quiet rooms. no shuttle service from the main train station but we could have taken the train to the Hahnenkamm Bahnhof station instead if I planned better. The Hahnenkamm Bahnhof is very close to the hotel.
