Located in the very center of Kitzbühel, Hotel Gamshof is 1476 feet from the Hornbahn Cable Car at the Kitzbüheler Horn mountain and 1969 feet from the Hahnenkammbahn Cable Car. Lovely one night stay in hotel full of Tyrolean character. Great staff and comfortable room and on site parking. Short walk into the old town. Lovely breakfast (outside if chosen) Nothing negative to comment on.

The hotel is located in the city center. Hotel offers own parking. The building design and room design are very beautiful and are in mountain style. The room is big enough for 3 adults. Beds are very comfortable. Tap water is very clean and drinkable. In summertime you get a free of charge ticket to the Hahnnenkamm lift to the mountain. Breakfast is tasty but limited. Breakfast room is very beautiful.

The staff and owner were amazing - they took great care of us when one of our kids got incredibly sick. It’s a tad further from the lift than I would have liked.

It was a fantastic stay with cosy vibes. I especially liked the breakfast and the soup offered in the afternoon after a long ski day. Rose, who was the afternoon staff was an amazing person, made our stay extra special and comfortable One night there were no hot water to shower.

Location - a 5-10 min walk to shops/restaurants/main lifts (we kept our skis in the locker room at Hahnenkamm Lift Intersport for ease). Good choice of central restaurants and bars. Gamshof is family run and full of character and charm. Welcoming, efficient staff, small reasonably priced bar with seating - great place to meet other like-minded guests. Lovely buffet style breakfast, afternoon Goulash soup. Pleasant, clean, modern rooms. We liked everything.

The breakfast was so fantastic, the staff were so friendly and extremely attentive!! Loved talking with everyone and they had wonderful recommendations for hikes and cable cars to see the sights. The hotel was cozy, comfortable, homey, and I would recommend for anyone in a heartbeat. There’s honestly nothing we didn’t like :)

The staff are in incredibly nice and welcoming. We were upgraded just cause we asked nicely ☺️ The room size and toilets are true to picture. Definitely book!

Nice stay, we came to Kitz for skiing. Pretty petite hotel in Tyrolese style and local authentic atmosphere. Very comfortable, in the heart of the city. Sauna is a plus.

There isn’t enough room to write everything that was great about this property, but it comes down to Johannes, and as far as providing a welcoming atmosphere—he knocks it out of the park. Great location, clean, on site bar, the deck outside our room was incredible. You can see the skiers on the slopes. An incredible family run hotel that I will be staying at again Literally nothing. onsite ski storage was outstanding, friendly staff, the breakfast was amazing

Staff was very nice and Larissa went above and beyond suggesting places to eat and activities. Breakfast was nice. Hotel was clean. There is easy bus access to Hahnenkammbahn gondola and the town is all withing a short walk. Hotel is a bit off the beaten path. It is not fancy, but perfect for our family stay.
