Hotel Fränkischer Hof

Price, cleanliness – Everything spotless in a place, however, that transports you back to rural Germany's 1970s as far as style, furnishings, amenities, and furniture are concerned. The room a was in is tiny and the bathroom even tinier, breathing the air of what in Germany they call a 'Monteurshotel', or a price-is-king place into which companies may book their workforce in town for a couple of days for installation or building work. Everything else – Looking at the price, it should be great. But it's really only a bed for the night, so not that great after all. On a Saturday night, no staff, but a keybox at a place that claims to be a 'hotel restaurant'. That's what it might have been in the 1970s/80s but now there's nothing. The central location in the town means you will be having a hard time finding a parking spot close by for your car, while the description suggests parking is available – there is none, only the public spots, free only at night, around the place. Also, the booking process suggested breakfast could be had, although it was unclear if it was included in the price. When I called on the phone to get the key from the keybox, I was told no breakfast was on offer, but I could go to one of two bakeries with café around the corner to have breakfast... where, when I tried, I was told I wasn't allowed to have breakfast inside on a Sunday morning, had to use what I ordered as take-away... so, taking it away I ended up on the only bench on the town square not full of pigeon shit at 3°C in the morning. Payment was to be in cash, no cards – no mention of this in the booking process. Luckily I had enough cash, or I'd have had to search around for an ATM. As a big surprise came to the lady who took my cash that I wanted an invoice for the stay. The entire morning being made yet more complicated by the fact that the – friendly – lady supposed to see me out didn't speak a word of the three languages I tried on her. All in all, despite good price and comfy bed in a tiny room a relatively disappointing experience.

Very bad experience was in the property around 17 30 uhr and nobody was in property called till 19.uhr and my check in was till 20.00uhr we have to move to another hotel still hotel Fränkischer has to debit my credit card, guest should be careful about this place No good about them liars
