The staff is very friendly and helpful, the location is very close to the beach, the choice of breakfasts are excellent , and always fresh fruits, fresh juices and sweets. There is a TV with the ability to watch Netflix, which is very pleasing. Cleaning every day. Many thanks to all the staff and hotel manager Laura for the wonderful hospitality and gifts, and special thanks to Omar for his responsiveness and help.

Everything was truly exceptional. My husband and I stayed there for our honeymoon, and even though Laura, the manager, wasn’t present at the time, she went above and beyond to ensure we had the best possible experience. The thoughtful surprises and gifts made our stay even more special. The entire staff was also incredibly kind and extremely helpful, making us feel very well cared for throughout our stay.

Staff 6/5. So friendly all the time - also before our holiday they were reachable via Whatsapp. When we got there, they helped us with our hopes to get different attractions. They also arranged my purse back from the taxi where I missed it. Coffee at the breakfast was a bit strong. Nothing else to complain!

The accomidations and staff were excellent. Before we even arrived we were contactedby the manager. We took advantage and they made arrangements for a driver to get us from the airport to Arya. They also helped us arrange site seeing before we left for ARYA. The staff was the nicest I have every had. They knew you by name and said hello, and they were very accomidating for our unusual schedule. The meals were fabulous. We also had a welcome present which really blew our mind. (I won't say what it was so the surprise is appreciated). Having a pool was great. Parts of it was shaded by palm trees so you are not in direct sunlight if you are trying to avoid it, while other areas had good sun exposure. We also has a 1 hour massage which was wonderful and relaxing. The facilities were very well manicured with beautiful plants adding to the atmosphere. Nothing.

Exceptional

There is a device in the reception that makes a sound that I could not sleep from. It was reported, but the sound continued. The shattaf in the bathroom was running water.

Hidden Gem! Highly recommended! The owner and the staff do the most to make sure your expectations are exceeded. Breakfast is beautiful selection of fresh fruits and juice and eggs. Brilliant! Everything was Excellent

it is a truly boutique hotel as it only has like 6 rooms, our group was in 3 of them and no other guests, so it was like our own little hotel. Hanging out within the hotel was relaxing and enjoyable. The staff were friendly and attentive to our needs. The pool was nice, tasty breakfast, daily room cleaning, air conditioning worked well. The location on the island is good if you want to explore the northern part and middle. It was a good place to recharge after a safari or a long day around the island - sleep, swim in the pool or lay in the sun beds by the pool and have good breakfast. One of our rooms had a faulty door lock, the hotel reacted quickly by moving us to a new room, which was a free upgrade as well, so from day 1 we felt taken care of in the best way. Thank you! Dinner was fine. Some amenities were not in top shape but it was ok. Once you leave the hotel gate you are on a rather rough looking street but no worries the beach is just through a little passage, like 1 minute. If you are new to the island the experience outside can put you off a little, as there are merchants there and Masai families camping on that narrow passage and once you are on the beach you'll be approached by someone straight away - to buy something or offered some service. But we never felt unsafe.

Very good

Although the photos suggest, the Hotel is not directly on the beach but maybe 50 meters away (cross a tiny gravel road, pass by or through a neighboring Hotel). In our case we liked that a lot because the strong wind (coming from the sea) only hit the beach and first row of Hotels, while we were protected and could relax at the pool, watching the palm trees around waving in the storm.

What can we say, it was above our expectations and we didnt expect more than just to have a great time. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by wonderful staff, Deogratius, Muddy and Mwana! Laura, you should be very proud of them! We were very lucky to have an entire resort to ourselves due to big group cancellation very last minute and we felt like the queen and king for the next 3 days! Please, do not hesitate to stay at Arya! You will not be disappointed at all. Location, beautiful staff, amazing breakfast which was just perfect for our honeymoon, we were very teary to leave this cosy paradise! Laura and the staff are extremely friendly, we’ve been pampered soo much during our stay. Cozy little resort full of flowers and plants, quiet place. We would like to thank Laura for taking care of us even tho she wasn’t there during our stay. The food is yummy, it’s freshly prepared every day. Clean villas with hot and cold water. 10/10 Nothing to do with the resort, there’s too many beach boys that are trying to sell you gods, it’s kinda annoying when you try to walk on the beach… Tho if you say no they’ll stop it which is nice.

Wonderful place to stay. Only little amount of rooms, personalised service, very close to the beach (1min walk), the pool is also amazing (worth to spend a day chilling there) We had constantly support to organise our activities The people working there are outstanding, very nice, and pay attention to detail. Food and massages are also great! We will definitely come back! Everything was perfect

We wanted to express my heartfelt gratitude for the exceptional experience we had during our stay in Arya. Before our arrival the communication with Laura was amazing, she answered always fast all my questions willing to help to make our stay perfect. From the moment we arrived in Zanzibar, the level of communication and warmth extended by Christian, Laura from the distance (she wasn’t at the moment there) and the entire team was truly outstanding. The genuine hospitality and kindness we received made our stay memorable. It's evident that you all take great pride in ensuring your guests feel welcomed and valued :)) Everything in Arya is just perfect! Starting from the breakfast options that were not only diverse but also incredibly delicious. The dishes were also a beautiful visual delight with the beautiful flowers ;) It was for sure a fantastic way to start each day of our stay. And of course a big compliment to the comfort of the hotel. The attention to detail in the rooms, the soothing ambiance, and the overall cleanliness truly made us feel at home. We enjoyed the pool in the evening because it was still sunny to enjoy a swim. It was during our stay my boyfriend’s birthday and Laura helped me to prepare him a beautiful surprise for his day. We finished the day having an amazing dinner at the pool! The amazing combination of floral decorations and delicious food (special compliment to the tiramisu) created a a truly magical and memorable evening!!! We will always remember it! Thank you for creating such a wonderful haven for travelers like ourself. We will undoubtedly be returning, and we highly recommend your establishment to anyone seeking a remarkable hotel experience. Everything was perfect!!!!

The staff were amazing, they went out of their way to make our stay full of surprises, full of Love, with impeccable service and exceptional personal and bespoke treatment. The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable and spacious. The lunch & breakfasts were the best food we had in Kiwenga. Marie was amazing at making sure we had all we needed. Laura was always available via WhatsApp to ensure we had 5star treatment. The gardener and room cleaner were such a delight, creating beautiful displays for us! Nothing was too much hassle for anyone. We had an unforgettable stay and are so grateful for all the attention to detail. The pool is perfect for kids and to dip into during hot afternoons. The beach is beautiful and super close! Nothing all great.

Beautiful small hotel with lovely garden and pool accessed directly from our two bedroom thatched cottage. The whole place has been really well conceived and offers a peaceful oasis away from the hustle and bustle. Our kids loved the walk in pool. Friendly, helpful staff and owner Laura who arranged a really special surprise and gifts for my wife’s big birthday. Tasty food for dinner and breakfast with the kitchen happy to accommodate our kids requests. The massages from the spa were excellent! We had a really memorable stay and would recommend. We had read about the beaches on the east coast being really tidal and difficult to swim in due to the sea urchins but didn’t find that to be an issue here. There were a number of shops and restaurants along the beach front. Very little not to like. Minor point but our cottage might have benefitted from a comfy chair. Worth also noting that it is not beach front, instead set back behind another small hotel/bar property and small lane - the booking.com filters has it listed as ‘beachfront’. Beach access is very easy and they have an arrangement with the neighbouring property to use their sun loungers.
