Ok Chic Phuket Hostel

There was no top sheet, only a bed cover. The sliding door had no latch or lock. Bright white paint in the room would be more welcoming – the dark grey was a little depressing. The price was very good.

Friendly hosts, complimentary instant coffee and water refills daily. Cute decor. Comfy beds! Great location, only 3 minute walk from all the bars/restaurant areas but also close to the local cheaper food spots! Water pressure in sinks could improve, not very social, maybe because there weren’t enough guests, on my last night i had a guy checking in into my room at 1am that asked weird questions, not the host’s fault but it was scary because it was just me and him in a 4 bedroom dorm.

Very well located, old town. Good value for money. No ventilation or window in the room, noisy room.

The owner was very kind to wait for me until 10pm to check in as I had a horrible day of travel delays from KUL and a hairdresser salon apppointment. He was friendly and very kind and his wife let me hang my wet clothes at the backyard. The reception is comfortable to work online and the ac was solid cold which was fantastic. Hot water in the shower too. Good location and 7-11 is a 5 minute walk. Lots of food options around. Very hospitable and friendly couple running a small business Some guests were inconsiderate not to flush the toilet- not within the owners control but this was terrible behaviour of them.

It is a very small hostel. Great location.

I stayed for 30 days. This was my hub. The location is excellent right near downtown close to everything. This place is great for anyone looking for a quick stay at a great price. The AC and Shower worked fantastic. It was quiet and I was able to sleep with no issues. The owners are fabulous! They also have scooters for rent.

Convenient Clean Location Safety

The location was good, the hostel was quiet and clean

Beds were sooooo uncomfortable. No shoes allowed in the building - even in the bathrooms. The floors of the bathrooms were always wet due to bidet so it was gross to walk around without shoes. Big mosquito issue in the toilets. Everytime you go in, your legs are eaten. But it’s too hot to use without shorts. No food allowed in the rooms. When you leave the room for the day there are no locks on the doors, so staff and guests can go in anytime and snoop or do checks. There was a small locker in the room to put your bags.

Nice hostel in Phuket old town, central doors lock at night and only open with provided key so it's very safe for solo travelers, clean fresh bathrooms and rooms, cleaning lady is very kind, professional and cute. The road is noisy sometimes but if you stay in phuket old town all places are next to busy roads.

Not worth it

Awesome location, kind staff, the bedroom is small but it's clean and the bed is comfortable. You're allowed to bring guests which is nice, also for the price and location you can't find a better option. On top of it the showers are nice, you are provided a locker and there's absolutely nothing I didn't like. I will return one day!

Room can not be locked from outside when we go out, our belongings must keep in a steel cage with lock

The doors on the private rooms do not lock from the outside, so make sure that your bags are able to fit in the lockers provided.

easy to check in and walk around from the hostel. comfortable room the room was very small but it’s not really an issue if you’re just there to sleep

just a bitty noise since the room window is in front of the street, but that’s ok. that’s not possible to lock the door outside, but there is a big locker.
