Pearl of Samui Resort

Stunning property and amenities. Pool was fab and the restaurant attached was great. No real designated beach lounge area so to speak.

Everything! The welcome was so friendly, the property is next to the ocean, clean villas, we wish we could have stayed longer here!

Clean and fresh room, nice swimming pool with a view on the sea, the hotel is beautifully designed to make you feel on holidays and disconnected from the rest. The restaurant feels underrated; we had a few meals and cocktails there and were never disappointed by the quality of the food/drinks although the restaurant could feel empty. The staff was also always kind and helpful. The owners are welcoming and committed to their hotel. They definitely pay attention to small details to make customers' comfort a top priority. Noise from the street during the night was the only inconvenient

The part of the beach where the hotel is located is just in front of a small pier, so you can't get a real clear view of the sea and also can't get on the beach itself. There is no shuttle service from the hotel to other places on the island, so it's a bit hard to get around.

We stayed for 5 nights at the Pearl of Samui Resort and were very sad that we had to leave so soon! The bungalows are very cute. Each bungalow has a terras/veranda with lounge chairs. In the morning when the sun is shining the staff closes the white curtains around the terraces which gives shade to the rooms and gives a real island vibe. The room is cleaned daily and is very modern. The bed is compared to other locations in Thailand very soft and comfortable. The airconditioning works very well! There is good quality shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided. The resort provides fresh beach and pool towels daily. There's a minibar in the room with decently priced drinks and snacks. The facilities are great. There's plenty of space around the pool to lounge with a beautiful view of the beach. The pool is exceptionally clean and we enjoyed swimming each day. The pier on the beach has a great massage tent. The beach is cleaned daily. The resort is next to a 5-star resort which is exceptionally convenient because there are crossing guards to help cross the busy road! There's a 7-11 across the road that we also frequented. The staff was super friendly and spoke good English. We were sad to leave them. The restaurant/lounge has delicious food that is decently priced. They arranged a taxi transfer to pick us up which was decently priced. We were super satisfied with our stay at the Pearl of Samui! If you're looking for a well kept, relaxing location this is the place for you!

Everything about pearl of samui is wonderful.

Loved the pool, view and proximity to the beach. Did not receive hot water in the room. The owner did help me understand the valves, but the water never heated up fully. Maybe luke warm. Cannot understand if due to the location on island or because it was broken. Also was charged for the snacks fyi. I thought only the min bar drinks would be charged. Location is overall decent with some nice restaurants nearby as well as the night market. Way less hectic than chaweng side of the island Staff was super helpful in determining directions to my next destination!! Wou

10/10. Honestly, don’t stay anywhere else. I stayed for a week and loved it. The pool area is gorgeous and so relaxing. There are so many nice touches such as the sheer curtains for privacy on the verandahs, pool and beach towels freely available and the bottles of water each day. The restaurant also acts as room service and I ate there several times. I rented a scooter via reception and everything was fine with that. They helped book my transfer to Koh Pha Ngan too. Thank you for a brilliant stay. Nothing.

Relaxing and amazing

Not a big deal but the rooms are slightly too small and you cannot really open the curtains as windows lead directly to the main areas.

Photos are old and do not accurately show the beach view from the rooms or pool. In reality, there is a busy pier right across from the hotel so there’s not easy beach access. The pier was loud with construction and music until 11pm. We booked the “ocean view villa” and had no view at all. Lady at the front desk was helpful but seemed upset to be asked for anything. Bathrooms were small and damp.

It is a very lovely and cozy boutique hotel. I like the vibe of being just a few guests and that the pool never get overcrowded. Very relaxing atmosphere by the north of Lamai. Lovely pool ! Beautiful garden with cactus and palm trees. It is not located on the best part of Lamai beach, as it’s very rocky and it’s the fishermen side, don’t expect to swim right in front. But from that we were not annoyed with motorized water activities that goes all day long in the other side of the beach. (Jet skies, speedboat, ….)

The facilities (bungalows, restaurant and pool/grounds) were well taken care of. Staff were friendly and excited to help. The location was good - 10 minute walk from Lamai beach and right across the street from a 7-11 and restaurants. Also - had a great lending library!

Everything. We also meet the owner, and she is awesome. This was our most pleasant stay in Thailand.

Right in front of the beach, staff was really helpful and kind and always gave great tips for what to see on the island. We could walk along Lamai beach and it was not as touristy as chaweng. Would absolutely come back!
