Hot spring and food were good. Complimentary drinks and snacks at hr lobby. Staff helpful. The smallest room I have ever stayed in a hot spring hotel with that price! Fake window that can’t be opened. Room just big enough to place a table with two chairs so not much room to move around …

The entire experience, service, staff, meals, onsen, the room, the quality of skin care products provided it's a little far from the city main street, difficult to get there by foot without shuttle bus

Dinner was exceptional. Very good ingredients, quality over quantity in every main dish. Impressive breakfast offerings as well. Comfortable room, very clean and sufficient for us. Loved the onsen. There was a change every day to the mens and women's side. The side that had multiple outdoor pools was wonderful. It was raining the day we left and the staff went above and beyond to get us in their van and to the train station on time. Not impressed with the smaller onsen with only one small pool outside.

The staff were just absolutely, amazingly nice! We booked the japanese superior room with private onsen and it was lovely! It was a relaxing stay.

- great location. A short and fun walk from the bus station. Super close to the hiking train in the mountains and a short walk to the cable car station to the top of the mountain. - massage chair and hot spring that truly relaxes you. Stay there too short.

Typical ryokan experience. Yummy dinner and breakfast that we ate in the restaurant instead of the room. We were able to make use of both sides of the indoor/outdoor public baths (they rotate genders in the morning and evening) and tried both the clear and the red-brown Kinsen water. We also booked the private kinsen onsen for 45 minutes for an extra charge which was very clean. Fancy toilets with automatic lids. Location is on top of a hill so it's a bit of a hike if you want to stroll into the main part of town but you really mostly just stay in the property anyway.
