I love the ryokan room. I was able to experience the traditional Japanase culture. The onsen is great too. It is good to be relax here. And, I love the variety of Japanese foods especially the Wagyu. ? Nothing

We had an excellent stay here. The buffet meals (for breakfast and dinner) were tasty and the selection was very good. In two nights I could not try all the food, but what I had was delicious. The three public baths were all very pleasant, though my favorite was the modern Japanese style one. Each bath had both a small indoor and outdoor bath with the gold water, as well as a larger indoor bath with normal water. The gold water felt nice and had a pleasant smell. The room was a nice size, and I appreciated the large window and the two Western style chairs. The futon beds were comfortable.

Large and beautiful room, super clean. Buffet dinner is awesome No special delight available after onsen, e.g. cold milk or ice cream, even I am willing to pay for it Need to go up by escalator to lobby, not convenience with luggage

It is under promoted as it has different rooms like library and lounge which are not mentioned but they are very relaxing and comfortable.

Amazing facilities, very well maintained despite a century old onsen hotel, awesome Onsen,what surprised me the most unlimited dinner buffet with mouth-watering Kobe beef!!! The most delicious Kobe beef I ever had, taste heavenly, I am willing to go back just for the Kobe beef alone! I am not able to find any beef that can match this kinda quality later on in my Japan trip, you must try this at least once in your lifetime! Kinda pricey, but well worth it

Have everything and you don’t have to pack much stuff besides your clothes. Great dinner buffet with unlimited Kobe beef. The floor tatami was not for me. We booked private hot spring, the stuff is rushed us, we couldn’t finished the shower.

Everything excellent. Staff are politely and helpful. Room are clean and view from room so amazing. We can see sunset from our room. Dinner plan include Kobe beef and buffet are delicious. They have 3 onsen which beautiful and good quality. We enjoy to relax our body after travel in Kansai around 1 week before go back to Thailand. Nothing.

Has small town - big personality vibes to it so popular among tourists seeking a more relaxing atmosphere close to nature. With mountains surrounding the town, it appeared to be popular among hikers since we spotted quite a few of them as we explored the area. The resort itself exceeded our expectations, stellar service, excellent facilities/amenities, and super comfortable futons. Not to mention the all you can eat dinner buffet with Wagyu steak (yum!). The overall package makes the cost of the stay worthwhile. - We were able to smell some of the cigarette smoke that leaked into the common areas (hallways, elevator waiting area) out from smoke-designated rooms. - Buffet-style breakfast was offered, and although there was a lot to choose from, there were few dishes that appealed to our tastes (your mileage may vary, as this is a personal take). The fruits and dessert options were excellent however.
