The house is silent and is close to Lake area. Mr Rajan care taker ,was taking care of our stay and he cooks the food we requested for dinner and breakfast and the food were tasty. The drive to the house is narrow from the lake.

The staff were very helpful. The rooms were comfortable. The entire premises were neat and clean. The water heater in one of the rooms had issues at times. The food served here was a bit costly.

We had a wonderful time with family at the Orchid Gardens, it is a Beautiful place with a lovely garden very close to the lake. the kids loved the seperate play area. The rooms are well kept and clean,the wifi signal was also good, the caretaker and staff are very responsive and friendly, the food was homely and good. Overall had a 5 star experience and loved our stay.

Very clean, very well maintained, Caretaker was very good.Food was very tasty. We had to pay extra than what was mentioned in booking.com. We also had to pay Rs 500 extra per day for room heater

The room and the food provided by caretaker Mr. Rajan 1. Its located in such a place that there is no good view. One only sees buildings. Though it is close to the lake one has to take a detour to avoid a dangerously steep path. 2. No Crockery - all stainless steel utensils and only small cups for tea-coffee, No electric kettle

Good place to stay. Clean room and washroom. Looks like a new property. Approx 2 km from Kodaikanal lake. Coakers walk Bryant park. 7d theater. Caretaker Mr Rajan is good. He cooks food and is all in one in the property. Homely food. Bfast and dinner available. Lawn is beautiful. Excellent place for groups to stay. Safe and clean Price per night is a bit higher for a home stay.
