Maritina Hotel

Room was lovely, we had a balcony which was great to dry off bathers daily. Our room faced the front of the hotel onto the street. Good vibe of the area. We enjoyed our stay and liked everything. Staff were friendly and helpful. Offered suggestions and advice of places to see and how to get around. The only thing which was annoying was that there were too many one way streets in Kos and when we hired a car for one day confusing to get back into town and our hotel.

The parrot in the breakfast area :) And breakfast was ok. Cleanliness in the room, esspecially bathroom can be improved. We didn't like the balcony view from our room. Drying rack on the balcony for the beach towels and swiumsuits would be a plus.

It was close to the harbor for my trip out to the other islands. This was a HUGE plus for me and if you are only there for a night to and from other islands, I would say it's a fine bet. It felt safe for solo travel and the reception staff were nice and kind. It was quiet. The wifi was not great in the room I had. it would not connect that far away. The two rooms I stayed at had balconies that faced directly onto other rooms - I saw A LOT of the other guests. Breakfast wasn't great at all - would give it a miss if I stayed again.

Breakfast was below average. Coffee taste was bad. The pool was small and not clean enough.

We had a nice stay at Maritina. The room was very clean, though a bit on the small side—especially the bathroom. It also had a small terrace, which was a nice addition. The bed was large, but the mattress was too soft for our liking, so it wasn’t the most comfortable. Once the windows are closed, the room is quiet, but with them open you can hear some noise in the evenings and at night from nearby bars. The A/C works well, so that wasn’t an issue. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of options, including local dishes. We didn’t use the swimming pool—it looked a bit small—but the terrace has a lovely bar. Location is just perfect, everything (port, restaurants, etc.) are at walking distance.

Breakfast was excellent We didn’t realize that the pool was closed so that was a big disappointment.

V convenient for the port and close to the bus terminal. The broken fixture in the bathroom, an electrical wire dangling with just tape covering the end, and paper thin walls.

Doesn’t match the pictures. It’s VERY different from the pictures . But it was not expensive ; and the room was clean ; staff super polite. But the pictures do not match.

It was impossible to get any sleep during the night because of the noise - talking, shouting-coming from other hotel guests who were very obviously drunk.

Location and the checkin lady’s smile is all I can recommend about this property. Corridors, rooms full of dust. Beds were creaking, pillows were rock hard, bathroom was not clean. Pool was a joke, couple of bathtubs wide and maybe a several long..

The location, cleanliness and comfortable facilities. The parrot is a plus. We had a lovely time there.
