Breakfast was really really poor.

Breakfast was good. Staff were fantastic, location was perfect and very peaceful. Swimming pool was a nice feature. Excellent value for money.

Very nice small hotel with a pool. Good location. Good value for the price. Small space in the breakfast area, staff always bumping into you, cheese should be seperate from the meat, important if you are a vegetarian. Mosquitos all over the place.

That it was located in Kos Receptionist didn’t allow me to bring a guest into my room, and no amount of money or registration would change their policy. So my romantic Greece adventure died at the reception desk of Theonia Hotel. Also, the room service lady would always come into my room despite me asking repeatedly not to. There are no do not disturb placards provided. Even after me calling reception with the number on google (the phones in the room are there only for show, why even bother ?) to request that she not interrupt my sleep, she still barged in while I was naked, regardless. Also they wouldn’t even let me eat takeaway on the terrace, and told me to go up to my room, which only had a table on the balcony and was currently getting blasted by intense sunlight. If I seem mad it’s because I am. That I came as a solo single traveler. I bought a private room for the purpose of having somewhere to take a nice woman that I might meet on my travels. And the staff at Theonia Hotel chose to violate the purpose of me even booking a hotel with their no guest policy. In fairness night receptionist was very kind. But not amount of good things can make up for the Theonia Hotel manager destroying my romantic adventure. This I cannot forgive. Stay away, any travelers who are single and tryna mingle.

Location Beds are uncomfortable. Breakfast needs some improvement.

The location is great (few min walk to the beach and about 10 min nice walk to old town). Pool was great and staff are very helpful. Overall a great value The mattress was to hard

Exceptional

It was a great stay! I went with 3 friends and we were very well received. The breakfast was delicious and the location was perfect. It was a great choice for a peaceful stay. I absolutely have nothing to complain about!

Did not partake of the breakfast but from what I observed very good selection to choose from and the setting was good with both indoor and outdoor tables to choose from. Would recommend kettle in room to be able to make coffee or tea in the morning.

I only stayed for one night, but I wish I could have stayed longer. The owner is an example of simpaty and I felt home since the moment I arrived. The hotel is located in a quiet area, but also very close to the Dolphin square/city centre. The room facilities & breakfast were good enough for what I was looking for. I would like to recommend a restaurant that is just 4min from the hotel - Kyriakos. They serve great local food and drinks.

Arrival at 04.00 AM and reception was open.
