The location

It's a new hotel. Comfy bed with good amenities. There's a vending machine at the lobby to buy snacks. Has its own cafe and 7-11 around the corner. The water dispenser inside the room couldn't dispense hot water. The hotel gave us a kettle instead. Breakfast has a good spread but food wasn't tasty.

The reception was awful. We arrived early n we were told no room is ready. So tgey told us to wait. And after 1.5 hours d rooms were ready but the Reception dudnt do anuthing about it. We expected her to get all d keys ready by then. Instead we hv to wait another 45 minutes for her to sort out d keys

The staff are very nice and welcoming and check-in process was very smooth. The rooms were clean and the lobby area is pretty good. The bathroom and shower in cabin style are truly awful. In a double room it’s just not comfortable, it’s tight and it offers no privacy. Especially when you consider that the surface including the sink isle could have easily been used for a proper closed bathroom instead. You pay for a hotel for a maximum of comfort, and that was just the anthesis to that. Besides, the hotel makes a lot of small cheap choices that worsen the quality of the stay, like the slippers that are made of cardboard, the all-in-one huge bottle for shampoo and shower gel etc.

Of all the 5- and 4-star hotels and boutique hotels I stayed at, I felt most comfortable at this hotel. I felt very relaxed in those rooms. The rooms are equipped with modern facilities. I liked that they separated vanity area from the toilet and bath. The rooms have water filters which I find most thoughtful, not just for the environment but also for the customers. I din't have to buy my own water bottles or constantly call them to replace the packaged plastic bottles or ration those bottles. I could drink 3 liters of water a day without feeling the guilty throwing plastic bottles in the trash. The beds are my another favorite, they were soft and comfy. Modern TVs with free selected movies. The hotel is close to the city center, Jalan Istana, Aeon mall, bus terminal and popular eateries. All are just less than 1 km away. I did walk to city center and few pasar malams at night. The Streats cafe didn't have much local food options.

Comfortable, good air-conditioning in the room Definitely not a bad stay, but for the price could be better- wi-fi seemed a bit flakey and cleanliness of the bathroom could be approved. Also, room design allows only limited privacy in the bathroom which I find terrible. Definitely not comfortable for more than one person.
