Andamanee Boutique Resort Aonang Krabi

The resort was beautiful. Pool was great. Walking distance to a few great local restaurants. Far enough away from town to be quiet but close enough that a taxi ride was only 200 baht back. They definitely beers were expensive at the resort but you pay for convenience.

Spacious clean room with a good size pool. The toilet seat was old and very stained. The shower was tiny with DIY shower head. Breakfast was basic. Customer service was mediocre. There’s a tuk tuk van shuttle every 2 hours to the main strip starting from 9:30am -7:30pm. I didn’t see a good beach to swim in Ao Nang, so I took the boat to Railay twice during my 4 night stay. If there is one, the hotel should provide some basic info. There is a good restaurant on the seaside after the market with live music and good food. I booked it late so I think I paid a premium for the late reservation. That s why I didn’t think it offered good value. The toiler seat was nasty and the shower was not pleasant. Customer service must be improved. Ripped curtains. Remote location and it cost 200b for public transportation.

The ladies at reception were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was decent and the room was clean. The pool area looked nice The rooms was outdated. The cushions on the chairs looked worn. It was a little out of the way for the touristy area.

Location is good. Short bike or taxi drive to Ao Nang beach and all infrastructure. The design of the building is also quite appealing Thai style. Reception can help you with booking of tours , give some tips and also rent a motorbike Big problem with shower, no proper shower head both in standing shower and bathtub, the waterflow is crazy either goes all into your face and hair or no water at all, first too hot then too cold, in the end no water you need to wait for it to start again….. Doors on the balcony do not close properly so when our neighbors were smoking non stop, all smoke was in our room. It’s a little bit outdated, no phone in the room to contact reception, no basic toiletries like toothbrush or so. The main door has quite big gaps so we would find lizards in the room when we were back. Breakfast options are super limited.

There is no daily cleaning like in 4-star hotels.

The pool was cleaner than the room. The room was very musty. The chair cushions and headboard were stained. The walls had mold. Breakfast was included but horrible it gave me diarrhea twice. Staff were stingy with acquiring water for drinking and coffee.

Staff is a family, and very helpful for things to do. The dogs on the property are very friendly but not to be petted. The view from breakfast is an amazing mountain in the distance. Sometimes outside of the venue there is a smell from the elephant sanctuary, close by. The courtyard is filled with flowers, that smell amazing.

The hotel is really a disaster. I can complain almost everything, starting from a manager, (you’ll see her response to my review), going through omnipresent dogs (especially walking in the breakfast area and looking into plates), and ending with disgusting rooms and bathrooms (pictures attached). Rooms: A musty odor welcoming you just from the entrance to the room, headboards dirty, although at hotel pages they look nice, masked with decorative pillows. Luggage storage shelves stained, blood looking substance together with dead insects on curtains, missing baseboards. Also importantly, AC was in state of disrepair having missing flap so the cold air cannot be diverted and blows directly to your face the whole night. What you can find in bathrooms is: toilet seats discolored with urine, stained walls, black mold around tub and sink and peeling of paint. Summarizing, the hotel requires TLC, and should have been withdrawn from booking com and other similar listings. To be honest, I could not find any valid business license at the reception area. Maybe it’s hidden in a drawer, but this is my observation. Left the hotel after one night.

Absolutely NOTHING Hated beds. Pool was disgustingly. In the middle of nowhere. Bathroom was lousy. Take cabs everywhere. STAY AWAY??????

It’s more like a b&b in a deserted resort space than a legitimate resort. Very far from amenities Staff aren’t super accommodating or flexible though they are helpful. The room was stale and musty upon entry. The fridge was unplugged and thus, warm and not of use. The damage deposit was excessive and out of line with every other legitimate resort we stayed in. The offered services are not accurate The owners dogs ran around the property, in the dining room and kitchen The shower did not drain effectively

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It felt like home.

Just need to skim the top of the pool. But the water is very clean. There is an Elephant sanctuary close by, so sometimes there is a farm smell in the air. Which they counter with all the flowers on the property.

Unfortunately, my experience was marred by the unwelcoming demeanor of the receptionist. Her unfriendly and aggressive tone made me feel quite uncomfortable during my stay. Overall, while the structure has its merits, the service left much to be desired. Location

The property doesn’t have staff. I think the owners manage it themselves, leading to chaos during peak season..they manage reception, kitchen, booking, compliant all by themself. Suggest them to keep some staff for these work.

Super-friendly and welcoming English-speaking staff, beautiful lobby building, very convenient shuttle to the beachfront. I would add a bit more variety to the breakfast menu (some fish/veggies, perhaps?)
