Krabi Maritime Resort is a great place to stay. The Director greeted us and made us feel very welcome. We were relaxed and looked after. The breakfast buffet was complete especially noting that the number of tourists have been lessened by the interruption with the European to Bangkok flights through the Middle East. The Hugh swimming pool is a special treat.

The view from our balcony was amazing as we can see the pool, lagoon and the Kanhab Nam Peak. In the morning sunrise was manigificent with an aura of red and golden aura shining upon the Kanhab Nam Mountain Peak.. Breakfast was delicious as the chef gave me extra onions and hot chilli on my omelete, as requested.. Afterward we took a casual stroll along the lagoon path and saw a white hornbill near the mountain peak (tried looking for it's mate but only saw one). Took my youngest son kayaking around the lagoon and he enjoyed picking the lotus flowers (he needed to wear gloves as the stem is a bit course ). We made a game out of it to see how many lotus flowers we can picked along the way, kind of Dad vs Son contest who can get the most lotius although he had a slight advantage being seated at the front of the kayak. We ended up giving them to the hotel staff so they can arrange the vase in the lobby. Later on we went for a swim and had lots of fun playing sharks (dad)vs life guards (my boyos); finding the pool toys.. We had lunch at the hotel as my boys loved the club sandwiches. We went to Cenral Krabi in the evening to do some shopping and gifts for relatives back in Bangkok. Will be back for their school summer vacation as its quite easy to get to Ao Nang and other areas from the hotel. The kid bikes was a bit too tall and so we skipped the free bicycles riding.

The bathroom is dirty & especially the shower room is moldy on the curtain. The toilet bow stuck on the second day. There’s no sign for No Disturb or Need cleaning. It has only two big towels, two small ones and no small towels to wipe out the counter in the bathroom. It has only one floor mat/rug. They don’t even changed it when asking for room cleaning which I stayed for 4 night.

We have ordered two double rooms but receivwd one double, and one twin. Rooms was very dirty witl not clean windows, mirrors, someones left used slippers. Hears of other humans lyong around. Hotel needs deep reconstruction everything looks, old used, there was a feeling that for us openet closed for reconstruction rooms. Paint dots on the floor terrace windows not cleaned. And about location, i onow that we have choised location our self, but hotel is in adead spor of krabi rhere is nothing interesting arount this spot. Therefore we have rebooked another hotel in the middle of the stay and moved out to another one. Hotel has nice place, pond, but very poor management and hotels potential could be used better, there is no fence in territory wild dogs are running be careful where you leave your children.

Loved the view from the room and the nice size balcony. Also, great breakfast. I booked a room with one queen sized bed. I was given a room with two twin beds, which is something I would never be ok with booking. When I asked for the one bed the lady at the front said there weren’t any available. Yet that is what I booked.

The staff is lovely and very friendly. They even posted a postcard for me (which is not a normal service). You can tell this resort was amazing in it's heyday, back in the nineties, early 2000s. Now it is dated, BUT the pool is amazing as is the jungle and pond, and those views...stunning. We watched monkeys playing in the grass as well as monitor lizards, enjoying the pond as we lounged by the pool. The greenery, lilypads, and area surrounding the pool is great! There is a gym, which has air conditioning if you ask(!). We were upgraded to a suite and it was huge. Overall, while decor is older, it is clean and has everything you need, especially on a budget. The shower head needs a vinegar rinse...there is great water oressure, but too clogged to cone out. And, while it is a bit far, all good with a scooter or car. :)

Renovated rooms, friendly staff service, and stunning scenery made our stay truly enjoyable. The hotel had activities like sauna, kayaking, swimming, gym etc. through it's large pool, lagoon, and garden area. We had free bus service to Ao Nang port for our island tour through direct booking with the hotel, which made this hotel great for both city crawls like the local market or our beach day!

Staff were amazing!

We read a lot of mixed reviews online so initially were hesitant to book but I am so glad we gave this place a chance. The resort was closed for 4 years since COVID and has only recently started opening up again. The staff are really dedicated and trying their hardest to make everyone happy and to bring the resort back to how it was. The whole resort is beautiful and has a wonderful pool adjacent to a lake full of lotus flowers. You can take a canoe ride on the lake as well as many pleasant walks around the huge grounds. The hotel has free bicycles and canoes available for their guests. The buffet breakfast does not have a huge selection but the stunning setting made up for it. There was always enough fresh fruit and cooked food and everything was freshly prepared. Everything was spotlessly clean. The bathrooms were clean but are a little dated and need a facelift but this was a minor problem.

Run down place with the worst possible Breakfast. Sausages uncooked, omelette cook cannot make omelettes. Salad is dried out. French toast is uncooked. Water pressure is low..Has a good walking area around a pond. Staff behaves in a slave mentality to Europeans.

The nature was amazing . The place is old , they should take care of it and renovate it as it could be one of the best hotels in krabi given the location and space they have .

The breakfast was amazing, and the location was perfect. The property is surrounded by lush greenery — it feels like having your own garden at home. Peaceful and perfect for a morning walk. I wish I could have stayed longer!
