The hotel is clean and well maintained. Standard facilities are generally good. The staff were fairly responsive to the issue I experienced. When I first checked in, I was given a Deluxe Queen Room, even though I had clearly booked a Deluxe King Room. The Deluxe Queen Room is noticeably smaller and is located at the front side of the hotel, facing the main road. At first, I assumed that this was how the Deluxe King Room looked because it came with a city view. However, the real problem started at around 10 PM, when a very loud live band performed right in front of the hotel. The noise was extremely disturbing and continued non-stop until midnight (12 AM), making it very uncomfortable to rest. I reported the issue to the staff. When I checked my booking details again, I realized that the room shown in the booking photos was clearly different from the room I was given. That was when I confirmed that I had indeed been assigned the wrong room type. Initially, the staff tried to deny the issue, saying that “the difference was only due to photo angle or wide lens, and the room size was the same.” This explanation was simply not true. The room size and bed size were obviously different. After complaining again, the staff finally admitted that I was staying in a Queen Room, not a King Room, and suggested that I move to a King Room later. This situation was frustrating, as I had to wait, check out, and check in again, which wasted a significant amount of my time. I then tried to negotiate a small compensation for booking an additional room on the third night. I only requested 5 MYR, which is the exact price difference between the Deluxe Queen and Deluxe King Room, since I was disadvantaged for one night. Unfortunately, the hotel refused to provide any compensation, despite the inconvenience caused.

Great location Floor in the room was sticky

The staff was friendly. Great location. The room had no windows. Very small room. I could barely fit in the bed without touching the walls. There is no storage space at all. Expensive room for the size.

Wonderful location of the hotel with easy access to metro and many restaurants and hospitality of the entire staff.

Location Worst experience ever! This was a terrible hotel — absolutely no service provided. The staff was rude and unhelpful, and the rooms were dirty with insects crawling around. The washroom was extremely small, filthy, and had a horrible smell. The staff’s behavior was awful; they didn’t care about guests at all and refused to help with anything. There’s even a microwave placed right next to the washroom door downstairs, and it gives off a disgusting smell. Yuck! I strongly recommend that no one waste their money staying at Astar Hotel

Room size was small. There was a TV but unable to plug cause not matched with the socket! last of all I requested or one hour late checkout, they charged RM10!

the location your property is near bukit bintang is comfortable for tourist visits there is alittle extra space for toilet users to increase the area that is quite large for the shower betwen toilet use

Overall very good hotel to stay with the family. At the sharp 12pm check out time all electricity will be shut down That should be changed.

Fair Fair but very noisy over midnight! If you like quiet, not recommend

Location The room and noisy from other rooms

The location was within walking distance of some sights and shopping. The room had a water kettle and mini fridge. On the weekend, it was a crazy busy area. Musicians set up across the street and blared music until late. The hotel has virtually no soundproofing, so it was almost impossible to sleep. Plus, I heard the people in the rooms on either side of me. The bathroom was rather small, and the room felt small/tight. There was no safe as advertised.

Room smell is not fresh, kind of smoke odor, although we book for non smoking room

Property location is amazing, right in the heart of bukit bintang However the rooms are too small , no window and feels claustrophobic. We booking for 3 person and the room could have been bigger to atleast walk! Also this property charge extra card fees if we pay bill via card! Because they don’t have facility to bank to not charge them extra for credit card bills!!! Who does that in this era where international credit card is accepted by all. They are the only hotel in our stay arranged by booking dot com who ask for extra fees for credit card. Requesting booking dot com to aware customers about it so that they can carry cash

The hotel is located in the heart of Bukit Bintang with very vibrant ambience, getting around the city is very easy because it's located near to monorail and mrt station, has elevator, providing iron and the table in public area, the hotel provide basic amenities. Most of the room don't have window due to nature of the building, additional charge when you make payment with card.
