Hotel Kudowa Manufaktura Relaksu

Room was spacy, comfortable bed. Good location, quiet. The hotel does not meet 4 star requirements. Staff was not friendly. A lot of smoking, when passing from the room to the buffet you need to enhale alot of smoke, fon non smoking person its very unpleasant. Breakfast far far from the description and photos in the booking, i would say - big dissapointment, expected as was described “exceptional”, more accurate woul be “exceptionally bad”. Deserts not available, yougurts not replenished. Pool- terrible, sounas not working- damaged. Very slippery floor which is simply dangerous to break your neck. No slippers in the room, need to ask to get it. Rooms which are seperated from main building are very inconvenient to get to breakfast and spa. Overall, does not meet modern spa, hotel concept, by all means- staff, food, comfort, feels like old school, socialism rudiment. Worst value for money.

Excellent location, kids corner, large room with A/C. Nice staff we loved our stay. Breakfast could be much better, choice for kids was poor. No pancakes or gofry, coffee machine slowest I ever experienced. Filling up food once eaten was also slow.

The staff was incredibly nice and provided special meals for us at breakfast to accommodate my dietary restrictions. We really enjoyed the activities they organised, like the outdoor grilling and kids party. Even though it was full of children, it wasn't noisy or disturbing. The pool could be bigger, when more than 5 people are inside, there is no room to actually swim, just to play around. They did not provide any slippers, and the pool area can get a bit slippery without them.

Hotel was clean and quiet, sometimes too quiet. The man responsible for the pool was very nice, helpful and understanding. There are 2 playrooms for kids of all age, including table tennis and PS gaming zone. Parking in front of the hotel was easy. Breakfast with many options, mainly though from frozen fast food, but minipancakes and coffee were a real treat. We booked this hotel specifically to celebrate the Kids day as they have kids zone and pool. When we arrived, they had technical problem with pool so it was closed. When asking the girl at the reception when this will be fixed, she was not very polite in answering us. Then another blonde woman from the hotel showed up at the reception, jumped into our conversation and rudely asked us how are they supposed to know when they will fix it!!!! Just unacceptable!!! So we asked if we can have a la carte dinner in the hotel restaurant. The receptionist told us that it is off season and they serve only bufet dinner from 4-7pm, eventhough it says in the hotel instructions that a la carte restaurant should be working until 22. After returning back to the hotel from another restaurant we noticed the pool is working, so decided to use it. On entry to the pool we met the rude blonde woman again. She told us the pool is closing and we are not allowed to entry. This was at 20.40, pool was supposed to close at 21.00. Thankfully, there were two men that were responsible for the pool, who let us in and apologised for the technical dificulties and left the pool open 30 minutes longer because of it. This way I would like to thank them for saving the kids day for our three children who were promised the pool and were looking forward to it the whole weekend. The reception staff although was absolutely unpolite, unprofessional and useless, they did not apologise for inconvenience, nor offered any compensation for it. We also tried the bar beside reception. The staff was polite, but was not present most of the time. They served us one drink quickly, charged us straight away and disappeared for the rest of the evening. No one speaks any english in the hotel and they do not even try to use other than polish language. For the price we paid for one night in this location we expected much more professional approach.

Overall everything was superb. Especially the breakfast and the gaming rooms. It's a pity that there are no covers built for the cars in the parking lots. Also the room number cards for the already parked-in cars are quite cumbersome, instead the closed gates and reception calling option. I missed the cold water pool from the turkish bath area. Also a bit weird that the saunas are placed next to the pool and not in the spa area. This won't be a big problem but with the opening hours of the pool (just from 13) vs. opening hours of spa (from 9 am) is a bit confusing.
