Very central spot close to the bus station and also the center of town It feels a little bit tired and could do with an update, but it’s actually under some renovation right now!
-
The hotel is about 15 mins away from Kumamoto station. The surrounding area is not so pretty and a little inconvenient in accessing public transportation. The bed sinks into the bedframe. The first staff member who helped me check in was a little rude. But a different staff member was much friendlier!
-
Very near the stop for the tram from the station. Near a pleasant and lively area for restaurants and shops.
-
Good location, rooms as the standard hotel chains. Renovated old building. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Room for 3 persons is too small for 3 persons but is not matter.
-
Bed was comfortable. There was an onsen in the hotel which was a nice surprise. It was small, but sufficient. Easy to access Kumamoto castle and other sights nearby. Far from the main station, but close to most important things in Kumamoto city.

Great location and comfortable ! However the breakfast could have been better !!
-
Comfortable bed. The onsen was small but clean. There was smoke smell in the room when we came back from onsen. The room is supposed to be non smoking room.

The staff are very friendly and accomodating. It was not very convenient to have the main entrance blocked by ongoing construction during our stay.

A room with three big beds fit our whole family (2 adults and three small children aged 6, 4 & 0). Got a good deal. Just what we wanted for 2 nights. Loved the ice dispenser in the lobby as we stayed during the hottest part of summer. They also have coin laundry machines in the lobby. No car park so you have to use some of the nearby coin parks or a bigger garage a little bit further down the street, that the hotel has a deal with. But the hotel does provide a map of the options available and the staff was very helpful. Brekrast was ok, but not worth it if you do not like Japanese style breakfast.

Service is very good.

I only stayed for a day but the location was in a pretty good spot. Good price too. About a 10 minute ride by tram from Kumamoto station and the stop is only a about a 2-3 minute walk to/from the hotel. A side note, the trams are super convenient for exploring most of Kumamoto and very cheap. A day pass at the tourist center in the station is only 500 yen. The room itself is, like most of my other reviews, standard for a Japanese hotel: A little cramped, private bathroom, mini-fridge, TV, etc. I think a recall a cigarette smell but not sure. It's about a 10-15 minute walk from the Castle Town (Sakura no Baba) which is where a lot of great food can be found. Solo traveler recommended. I'm unsure if most of the rooms were similar to mine but if so, not recommended if you're not solo traveling due to size. If you can't take the smell of cigarettes, probably won't be an enjoyable stay (I think this one had the smell but I don't remember TBH). This wasn't a negative for me, but I can see it being one if you rent car as there is no parking spots to use.

It’s a bit of a walk to get down to the strip but personally I don’t mind it I just didn’t like having to keep walking back and forth every time I got hungry to wanted to buy some snacks.
-
Good hotel, convenient location and easy access from Kumamoto station. The room was clean, with every facilities necessary for a short stay, like we did.

I stayed 16 nights. The room size is too small and no place for baggage. I asked for a bowl to eat Indian ready food, they did not provide anything. Whatever you ask their answer is only NO. Worst service. Everyday the same breakfast, you will get bored. No restaurant for dinner. Recommended for Just 1 night staying is good. Only on the 1st day they will give you the water bottle after that no water bottle. For a long stay not suitable for foreigners. Because they are not customer friendly. Like just a business mind.

The staff was extraordinary helpful. I had left my camera up on the bus at Mount Aso and they helped me call the bus company and in the end get it back. The room felt a bit worn down, but it was clean.
