This was my first stay at Sofitel Kunming and overall the experience was very pleasant. Although the hotel has been operating for some years and some facilities are not brand new, everything was very clean and well maintained, which did not affect the stay experience at all. Special thanks to Amy at the front desk for her warm and thoughtful service. She handled the check-in process efficiently and patiently, and was always quick to help with any requests. Her attentive service truly made the stay memorable. The breakfast was also excellent, with a wide variety of Chinese and Western dishes, desserts, and fresh fruits. The food quality was great and there were plenty of choices. Overall, the hotel offers very good value for money and the service left a strong impression on me. Some of the facilities and room furnishings show signs of age and are not the newest compared to recently opened luxury hotels, but everything was kept clean and comfortable.

The room is huge and the view is fabulous. The location is off from the city center and it was little pricy.

Stayed at the Club Room and the service at the club lounge was impeccable with very good food and drinks selection. I was even advised where to get the best sunset shots. The breakfast spread was huge and the view was excellent. Room was big and roomy and clean. Nothing

Breakfast buffet was great. Huge amount of choices and great view from the 49th floor. The lounge on the 48th floor was really nice. With nice drinks and a delicious buffet. The staff throughout the hotel were lovely and very helpful. I’m always a little nervous when a hotel has unsecured WiFi.

Swimming pool warm water and high floor room. Service was good too. Our first night room was little warm and next day hotel gave us change another better room. ??? At swimming pool there were too many kids learning swimming, which feels like we are in swimming club for learn swimming. Those kids may not be hotel’s guest kids. That’s only I have things to say. Rest are all good.

Location. Customer services. hygenie is terrible. I don’t think I could come back again. Hotel management needs to be replaced. Managers should be able to talk to everyone and try to get more feedback which will improve hotel management and service.

The staff’s politeness truly stood out, always eager to assist and ensure a delightful stay. My room was an oasis of comfort and cleanliness, showcasing the attention to detail that Sofitel is renowned for. The morning international buffet spread was a delightful culinary journey, offering an array of dishes to suit all palates. However, it was the evening international seafood and BBQ buffet that truly stole the show. With complimentary wine, a refined selection of caviar and foie gras, and an extensive spread of gourmet offerings, it was a dining experience to remember.
