Excellent room and facilities. Staff were great about answering our many questions and providing wonderful accommodations. Everyone who worked at the hotel was friendly to interact with and did their best to make sure our experience was good. Would absolutely stay here again in the future. Bonus -- the shower and heaters in the room were perfect. Shower pressure was strong and the water heated up within 5 seconds (very hot water, if I may add too) and heaters were very, very warm. Aside from the main lobby area, we were never cold staying here during Kunming's mild but still chilly winter. As well, being such a central location, it was very easy to get taxis within a few minutes. Across the street is a large convenience store, which was useful for getting snacks before day long outings, and next to the hotel is the hospital, which was perfect for getting our COVID test and results conveniently. They didn't have the buffet during the CNY holiday, which is understandable, but the food got quite repetitive to eat over the course of the week. It would have been nice if they had a bit more variety. However, they were very accommodating to my vegetarian diet and I appreciated their efforts to make the food to my liking.
