I like Green Lake hotel. The decoration of our room is antique and elegant. The facilities are so amazing. I was blown away by the TV next to the tube and the monitor of the outside. The shower and tube were both great. I also like the body cleanser and body lotion. They smell pleasant. Breakfast is nothing short of extraordinary. So many options for food, and the kitchen is well-organized. The location is also inside the best part of Kunming. We had a nice walk outside the hotel and enjoyed the coffee shop nearby. We had a lot of fun and made the best choice to stay here. Nothing.

The hotel is one of the highest rated places in the Green Lake area, which is a charming and busy neighborhood. The room was old but clean and well equipped. Breakfast is good. We chose the most expensive option in the area for our first night in Yunnan to avoid as many issues as possible. The hotel did not offer an airport transfer service nor it helped book a driver and plan activities for the next day. When we got there the staff did not know english well and made us pay way more than the "final price" shown on the website. They said that the value shown was just a reservation fee and that the room we booked was more expensive. At checkout we were short on time, I had to sign a receipt where the price shown was actually the original lower one. The only reasonable explanation might be that the payment included a large safety deposit and that the staff was not clear enough about it. I will update the review if we get the difference back.

The hotel was atmospheric and the room very comfortable. The historic nature of this hotel really added to its charm. The location was perfect, The Green Lake area is pretty, and there are also interestig neighbourhoods nearby.

The hotel had a wonderful location right next to the lake. The room was very clean with all the necessary amenities. The restaurant is very good and there is also 24/7 room service. Even the staff at the reception don't speak particularly good English.

We were impressed by the exceptionally courteous and friendly, helpful and efficient treatment from the hotel personnel, especially from the butler Shelly (I think that's how it's spelled). We would definitely come back to this hotel.

Rooms were lovely; big and very comfortable. Staff were welcoming. Location was good. The evening restaurants were a little expensive and didn’t have a great deal of choice.

Excellent location. Snacks & healthy soup for late night arrivals. Laundry service was limited to manual service, very expensive. Would be nice to have self-served laundry service with reasonable prices.
