Don't get the Seasons Theme Room - it's right above the busiest street in the area. The room is dark, with only one puny light. The hall is dirty.

    - Great location in the middle of the old street - Breakfast included (open buffet ) - Big window - Close to Metro station (Wuie) - Helpful staff - Daily housekeeping - Water bottles, tea and coffee in the room daily - Free laundry ( but sometimes it's challenging ) - No soundproof, you can hear everyone around you in other rooms and outside - Slow WiFi - I prefer password entry better than access card - No fridge

Breakfast was poor. From 8h30 to 9h30 am, there was no table available. Our room was on street side. We did not ask that. The street was very noisy, loud music until 3 am, so it was impossible to sleep. To change room, we had to pay more. Not fair. The staff booked a car for us to go to the airport but it was an illegal car. The driver wouldn't park to let us go out from the car because he saw the police. Extremely upsetting situation. The door of the toilet was transparent. Unpleasant of course.

The location, the ambience of the of the property. It was clean & the service staff was very helpful The door of the bathroom. Two separate doors would have been better

The information was provided very briefly at the beginning, might have been helpful to have written information on the wall/board/ in the room to make it more convenient.

The front desk staff are very friendly, they helped to keep our deliveries and look after our luggage. The location is very convenient, in the centre of the pedestrian street, great value

The location is great. Also the breakfast has lots of options. They even serve western breakfast items but don't really know how to serve them. They have bread and jam but don't have knives to spread it. They also have cereal but only hot milk, no cold one to eat it with. The shower was leaky and the floor below the bed soaked up all the water such that it was moist all the time. Also there is no space to put clothing. Not a single shelf.

Staff very good. The wifi is useless - if you need wifi for business get a datage package from China Mobile or one of the other providers.

Great location amidst shopping and restaurants. Shower was hot with good pressure. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast selections were tasty. Staff was very accommodating, but no English, have to use translator app. Offer washer and dryer to guests and have a drying porch on many floors. Housekeeping was very accommodating and respectful that we didn't want cleaning every day, but still changed towels and refilled coffee and water. Location could be a negative if it is raining, as you have to wheel your luggage down the street for 5 minures to get to the hotel from the taxi/grab. Wifi was patchy and it was hard to get anything done. Room smelled of damp every time you walk in, but it seemed to dissipate after you were in it. Dryer available for guest laundry took a REALLY long time to dry. Also, small detail, but we booked the room as a couple but only received 1 towel and 1 coffee upon check in.

Great location—which located in KunMing Old Town. The staff were very friendly, and the environment is quite chill to stay. Excellent value for money. I’d definitely book again if I return to KunMing.

Location is in the attraction area It was very difficult to find the hotel. The hotel gave me the wrong phone number and I couldn't contact them when I arrived. A car could not go in front of the hotel, and it took 6 minutes to walk. The street is not convenient to walk with luggage.

    Very good

  • Engine customer Jan 2025

Location is good. We can just step out of hotel anytime and it's already in the middle of tourist attraction. Breakfast is good (Though there's so many food shop around the hotel so some day we opted not to have breakfast at the hotel) Room is good. Bed is comfy. Be prepare to bring thicker sleeping clothes if you visit in winter because you have to understand that this is the hotel in the old town so it was build more like a house as in that it's not sound proof and not insulated. But they also compensated by a good warm bed. All staffs, front desk, house keeper, breakfast lady, were super nice and willing to help and service. Not suitable for elders and wheelchair : due to the location in the middle of walking street. So, the taxi has to stop about 500 meters away from the hotel and you have to drag your suitcase over a rock paved road. The hotel entrance was hidden behind a tea shop. in order to get to the check in counter, there's 2 2-step stairs. after check in, to get to the room, there are more 2-step stairs. For me, it just a little bit more complicated but not a deal breaker. Staffs ,or chinese people in general, cannot understand or read english so you have to be careful : For this stay, I have 2 booking with 2 websites, due to the room availability in each website. I print out both booking and show and tell staff that I have 2 booking. The staff said OK. But on the day that we supposed to change from booking 1 to booking 2, the staff asked my dad if we want to return the room. I was not at the hotel so I ask my dad to show them the document of booking 1 and 2. My dad say he show the document and the staff said that if we want to stay we have to pay (apparently, on check-in, they only charged us for booking 1) so my dad paid the fees for the rest of our stay. When I got back to the hotel, to make sure that they understand I even use the translation app to tell them that " I have 2 booking from 2 website, please make sure I didn't get charge by other website" and the staff said OK. No problem. On check out, the different staff was at the counter. we almost finish check out when the staff said that, Oh, you have a booking! so he tried to cancel or do something in his system to cancel my no-show charge from the website and it's not working. So he tried to cancel the credit card charge but also not working because it's an international card. So he ask me to call the website and tell them the situation. and ask the website's customer support to contact the hotel directly to solve the problem. Problem solve. Staff super nice all the time.

The location in a main shopping street in the old town is great. The rooms are fine and clean, good beds, and a nice breakfast. There was some music from the bars and restaurants across the street. One night it ended around 02.00h and the other two nights around 11.00h; fortunately it wasn't very loud (this was during week days).

Location was fantastic, staff didn't speak any English but were friendly and helpful. Room was very spacious, and bed very comfortable. Wifi was pretty patchy, and air-conditioning a bit weak.
