Extremely humble staff and pleasing resort. My children liked it very much. We are misinformed that the location can be easily driven with your car although notified that the road is bumpy. It is not only just bumpy but dead scary. Once you presume that you will make it and change your mind there is no going back, meaning the road is narrow, just one vehicle fit in, and edges are steep. We had to encounter a jeep coming from other side, We were really on the edge of the cliff to allow other vehicle pass. All our hearts were thumping till we reached the place. So if your are soft hearted or plan to visit with kids, please look some convenient place. The road to the location

During our holidays, we were looking to be away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Abad Brookside turned out to be an ideal choice, the eco resort was well maintained with ample places for our 4 yr old twins to enjoy, keep them busy with exploring nature and games. We stayed at a brookside cottage - kids absolutely loved going into the water, get themselves clicked and play with the fish. As the resort is close to may tourist attractions in Vythiri, we loved the fact that Jeep was available to move in, out of the hills (where the property is situated) and get picked (when needed) at short notice. During our long stay we would have liked more North Indian food choices in the menu. We were pleased by the fact that the chef went out of the way to make aloo parathas just for us. Also we liked that our suggestion of offering complimentary evening tea with cookies was acted upon.

The property is the main highlight. Serene and full of green.

The road leading to the hotel was in very poor condition. Once you reach the property, it is difficult to go out or return due to the road conditions.

The resort is nestled close to the forest, offering a serene and refreshing atmosphere surrounded by nature. One of its unique features is how it smartly utilizes the natural water flow from the nearby landscape—blending sustainability with a peaceful, eco-friendly setting. The sound of flowing water and the greenery around made it a truly relaxing escape. The road to reach property makes the drive a bit challenging.

Staff's are very helpful and supportive. Food taste is also good. Rooms are clean and neat Access between Main road and the resort needs lot of improvement, which will add more value to the property

Overall, the experience was good. All the staff members were very friendly and polite, which made our stay pleasant. the overall maintenance of the resort needs significant improvement. It seems like many maintenance tasks are pending—there’s no proper fencing around the property, the gardens are not well-maintained, and the general upkeep appears to be neglected. One of the major concerns during our stay was the electricity issue. Despite being there on a clear, non-rainy day, we experienced frequent power cuts, which was quite frustrating—especially when traveling with kids. Reliable electricity should be a basic expectation, and the frequent outages were unfortunate. Additionally, the water quality in the swimming pool was not up to standard. It could definitely use better filtration and maintenance.
