Elegant old hotel in the heart of Denpasar. Beautiful grounds, Dutch colonial buildings. Lovely staff, so kind and helpful. Great place for an extended stay. Relaxed atmosphere. Good internet connection. Bathtubs in every room. Nice, inexpensive restaurant in the front. This is an old school Indonesian hotel, not a trendy "experience", but a piece of living history. Notably; Pres. Soekarno stayed here, as did Chatlie Chaplin and many others. This hotel is mostly favored by domestic travelers. The location is fantastic. In the fascinating historic city center of Denpasar, there is a lot to see and do at every turn, great restaurants, and loads of fine cafes thronging with young Indonesians. It's a great jumping off point for destinations all around Central Bali - easy to get to Kuta, Ubud, Sanur and major roads to more remote destinations. Highly recommended!

Inna Bali Heritage Hotel was the first hotel built in Bali.The historical value is significant,that is the attraction!. We enjoyed the service with many smiles, meeting with locals and visitors.The pool, restaurant,genuine fixtures and fittings,make IBH an enjoyable "Step back in time". Enjoyed our stay?

There was a blood stain and a huge urine stain on the fitted sheet and top sheet of my bed. I asked the hotel staff to change both for me. After three hours and zero answers, my sheets were never changed and I was not given a refund.

The location, very central in Denpasar, is perfect. The rooms are spacious, with good wodden furniture and with lovely verandas overlooking the garden or the pool. The place is fairly clean and gives you complimentary coffee and tea every day. The bathrooms are very old, the bathtub in my room was litterally peeling off its enamel, the sink wouldn't drain, there are large humidity marks on the bathrooms ceiling and also on the bedroom ceiling, the pool is not very clean, some other rooms look abandoned and pretty messy, with lots of things parked on their verandas. Last but not least, the staff are nice but not as caring and helpful as in other places in Bali or Indonesia.

Spacious room and high ceiling. We could feel Indonesian atmosphere. Everything is old, but well maintained.

I could experience historical hotel. The stuffs are nice ;) Toilet is smelling pee. No Tissue paper. They takes a lot time for breakfast because of Group Tourists.
