Fabulous location, right across the street from Supermarkets and restaurants and the bus stop and metro stations less than 100m away. The hotel decor was just fabulous keeping true to Japanese culture but with all the comforts. Staff were so helpful. A smart tv would’ve been nice it not a big deal as I spent all of my waking hours touring the beautiful sites.

I stayed at this property with my son in April 2026. The hotel was relatively close to the Kyoto Station (if you have a lot of luggage you may need to take a taxi) The room was clean and the cabinets/ bathroom were updated and in good working order. There was no hallway, or other noise. There is a train station 1 block from the hotel we used frequently during our 4-night stay. The restaurant has convenient hours for breakfast, and dinner. Breakfast is very good, and there is an egg/omelet station. Dinner was good and inexpensive. Overall, our stay was very good. The room while nice was a bit on the small side for the price but probably large by Japanese standards. The beds were a bit firm for my taste. Seemed a bit on the expensive side compared to other properties we stayed at.

The reception staff were excellent. Welcoming, helpful, and ready to offer advice on what to see and how to get around the city. The room was very clean and comfortable.

The location is excellent, the hotel is very clean, and the staff are friendly and professional. Their response to requests was quick and efficient. The price is quite high for a 4-star hotel, and there is no luggage service to the rooms, even as an additional paid service. Additionally, the room walls are not soundproof, which was very disturbing and affected the overall comfort of the stay.

Clean hotel. Staff is incredibly helpful. Layout is a little unorthodox with a B1F main lobby from the street. Rooms are small, wasn't able to open my hard case luggage all the way without blocking the main door. Beds are passable.

Loved the onsen, beds and pillows, the breakfast was absolutely wonderful. Loved the omelet and waffle with whip cream and Nutella. Loved the tatami mattes.
