the room was clean, the bathroom and shower were updated with new shower hardware, great water pressure and hot water. The location was excellent and I took the bus around kyoto for sightseeing. The bus routes were very close and comprehensive. Breakfast was varied. Room was a little small and cramped for 2 beds but I was 1 person so it wasn't a problem for me. Would have been challenging with 2+ people though.

Clean, good location, friendly staff, big room The room was a bit dated, it is a 4 star hotel, but i've stayed at 3 star hotels in other cities in Japan which were a bit better. Despite being a bit dated, all facilities were top quality (as oposed to having new but very cheap quality ones like in Europe). The sound proofing could be better, we had some loud indian neighbours, but they left after 2 days.

Beds were very firm, as were pillows. Room was very small for 3 people.

1. The mattress is very comfortable to sleep on. We had good night rest during our stay. The room is small, but comfy enought for a family of 4, with 2 luggage bags. 2. Make a request to decorate the room to celebrate my wife's birthday, and the hotel fulfilled it with a simple swans decor. 3. The room comes with an universal handphone charger, which helps alot with a family of 4. 4. We love the onsen, my son and I shower twice a day at the onsen. 5. 7-11 besides the hotel, and there's a good soba restaurant (Soba-no-Mi Yoshimura) opposite the hotel, right next to McD and a supermarket (Fresco - Gojō) selling good bento and sushi set at affordable price, on the opposite right side of the hotel. 6. The breakfast is nice and well spread, loves the unagi with rice and the soft tofu. -

Beds are very uncomfortable especially after a long day of walking. Bathroom facility could be designed better.

Location, kindness of all of the staff, thank you for everything. We rented bicycle fromJ-cycle not far from Vessel Hotel, and went to all the must- see destinations. 100% Recommended

- There was common room to sit and outside food was allowed to eat there. The hotel provided free drinks and cotton candy. There were a lot of kinds of drinks including coffee. - Seven eleven was so close to the hotel. - Amenities was fully equipped.
