We loved everything about our stay here. From fast responses to any questions to adjustments to late check-in more than 2 hours due to flight delays. It’s exactly as the pictures depict and the air conditioning was perfect during a heat wave at the end of June reaching 38C. The breakfast is well worthwhile at 15€ with delicious coffee. We were on the first floor (essential for our many heavy suitcases) and enjoyed our secluded balcony everyday. Yet the best part was Paul and any of the staff who went above and beyond refilling my zest for ice, to beach towels and even a loaning 2 chairs to sit through my nephews orchestra performance just steps away. This is French at its finest. Although we took French classes prior to this trip, we were also glad all the staff were also fluent in English. Nothing at all. I miss my small wash cloths to remove makeup but I believe that’s just an American thing.

The experience of staying at the hotel was very disappointing. Starting with road works in front of the window, which upon checking with the workers turned out to be planned and the hotel was informed in advance. Furthermore, the dining room is located under the window, which resulted in a lot of noise. Another problematic point is the lack of an elevator and the lack of assistance in moving luggage to the room.

Amazing staff, great location Room had no view giving to a service area where staff could eventually see into the room

Beautiful hotel with a lot of charm and character, friendly staff and well set up rooms. Beds were comfy too. Breakfast wasn’t at all good value at €15 per person! Especially as the only cooked offering was eggs, and if you order boiled you get one single boiled egg!

For a hotel situated in the middle of town it was remarkably private, secluded and leafy. The staff couldn't do enough to please you and were always very helpful. The room staff were also excellent. Drinks and light meals were available throughout the day and when we invited some friends to join us for a glass of wine the staff were very obliging and even gave us some nibbles to accompany the wine. There is good parking on site. It is so handy for walking about La Croix Valmer and enjoying the facilities there. Renault and his staff should be commended for an excellent service provided. Incidentally the air conditioning appliance was silent, a first, and very efficient. I would have preferred a free standing shower rather than in the bath, but that is the request of an oldish man!

Amazing, beautiful breakfast Gorgeous garden for breakfast and lounging The staff are truly amazing: kind, friendly, super helpful, gracious This is a place probably suited to people who love charm rather than luxury. It's gorgeous - but not luxurious. The room was quite cramped (the old wooden closet door was bulky and opening onto the bed, e.g., tight, and squeaky, which was a little annoying). But the AC was helpful in the heat. The shower was great. And we will happily go back. Also: heavy suitcases need to be carried up the stairs.
