Antico Podere Tota Virginia offers beautiful views of the Langhe vineyards and hills. This converted farmhouse features a swimming pool and panoramic terrace. All guest room at the Tota Virginia were refurbished in 2008. Most come with a private balcony overlooking the Barolo Hills. The Tota Virginia's restaurant overlooks the local castle and serves creative dishes based on local recipes, including the area's famous truffles. There is also a large wine cellar and a lounge with open fire. Tota Virginia Antico Podere is a 5-minute drive from Serralunga d’Alba, and just 20 minutes South of Alba. Parking is free. This beautiful hotel and restaurant overlooks the bucolic hillsides, mountains and towns of Piemonte. The staff was superb. Everyone was gracious and helpful, making us feel at home. The restaurant and wines were also exceptional. The temperature of the room was cool the first night, but Ricardo, the hotel manager, addressed the issue quickly.

Clean, beautiful setting, unmatched wine cellar and tastings, great and helpful staff. Wonderful breakfast and dinners are Michelin star quality but with affordable pricing.

The breakfast was a bit underwhelming with not a great selection of things to eat, especially for us vegetarians. We did get some eggs prepared which was great.

Rooms were spacious, parking was easy and staff were nice and helpful, spoke english Restaurant was quite good. Place was quiet and relaxing Location - a bit out of the way from the towns and winding uphill road to get there. Breakfast was the same for the 6 days. Need to improve on providing proper hand wash and shower gel instead of a small piece of soap
