Close to the sea Very tatty, needs a lot of maintenance, the room was small and accessed via a dark alley and up a flight of dirty stairs. The patio door was broken and didn't open properly.

Great location about 30 m from the beach. Ample on site parking and indoor swimming pool. Town centre is a few minutes walk either along the road or along the beach. Room was quiet and comfortable with a door to a small outside seating area.. Roller shutter on French doors. Good sized en- suite with walk in shower.. The dining area is well appointed with a varied choice for breakfast. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. I visited mid September and had my bicycle with me to ride parts of the Vendée Velo and the town is very safe and easy to navigate on two wheels. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would certainly return. Nothing.

Proximity to the beach. Very cramped room stuck away behind main hotel building. Room tiny, bathroom tiny, dated decoration inside room. Definitely not 3 star hotel. Use of sauna 18euro per person, extra charge.

Great location near beach and restaurants, not too far from Velodysee cycle path. Has a Biike shed and swimming pool. Good value. Small quibble, noisy extractor fan whining all night long.

Nicely renovated hotel near the seafront. I have been coming to La Tranche since I was a child, although we had our own place then. I didn’t even know this place existed, it’s a good location, not too close to the centre, which meant it was quiet and I expect it’s great in the summer. Free Carpark across the street. Thin walls, so could hear people going to the toilet and walking up and down the stairs from reception.
