Westotel Tours Val de Loire

Nice clean place. Didn’t have time to check the sauna. Pool was closed till the season. Several small towns with incredible history and dining options within 2 hrs drive. Plenty of parking, easy in and out. Saturday we were late for the breakfast. So we took whatever left over was before they cleaned it all up. Sunday the food was finished half an hour before the end. Monday, the restaurant was closed ?‍♂️ they did mention it and offered breakfast in bed for the last day. Unfortunately we had to leave early.

This was a good break from B&Bs on our cycling trip from Orléans to Angers. The hotel is modern and comfortable in spite of looking like just a box from the outside. It is very close to Vouviers (although we couldn't cycle there because there was no dedicated path and the vehicular traffic was awful). But we easily cycled into downtown Tours (30 min or so). Bonus is the heated / covered swimming pool and sauna. We were upgraded to a very spacious room. All was fine.

Fantastic restaurant. I had informed them that I needed a gluten free meal, and they knew that as soon as I went in the restaurant. They had good knowledge of my needs. A lovely hotel, very clean and smart.

The hotel is located in a not very idyllic large shopping district. From the main Loire cycling route, cyclists also have to use roads intended for cars.

Breakfast was expensive

Room was exquisite! Breakfast was nothing special.

The nicest hotel in the region for a great price! Quite outside the city in an area where during the night, I would not go out.

Good sized room, friendly and helpful staff, easy parking - just perfect as we were passing through on our way home so appreciated being next door to a petrol station and supermarket. Top quality furnishings and bed. Looks great for using as a base for exploring the Loire valley - will definitely stay again. Paper cups in room - not really acceptable for a four star hotel, but staff provided proper cups on request.

Easy to park, nice ambience in reception, very friendly staff. That I couldn’t stay longer and make the most of the facilities!

Good value, good parking, clean rooms. Food was poor

It was superconvenient for an overnight stop and the room and facilities were very good indeed. Reception staff were very courteous and helpful. The restaurant was good for the evening meal (we didn’t have breakfast) and reasonably priced. Nothing really, but environment was industrial and not attractive outside the hotel. The evening meal was generally good, with the caveat that the chicken breast was rather over cooked.

Good location when stopping through France as it’s relatively close to the motorway and not near the town centre. Plenty of free parking. Big rooms and comfortable bed. Breakfast is a bit bland not much hot food for the price. Coffee from machine isn’t great. No charging for electric cars

Comfortable bed and nice room. Excellent dinner at restaurant and smooth parking just outside. Breakfast was OK but could have been better.
