Lovely seafront location

In a good location Room was very small. Old, not up dated.

Comfortable hotel on the Vélodyssee cycle route alongside the Atlantique. Close to all amenities including restaurants. Secure overnight bike storage in the hotel garage for long distance cyclists. Very good continental style breakfast. Nothing to dislike.

The property is situated across the road from the ocean and close to all the restaurants in the area. Also there is a restaurant attached to the hotel. The rooms are air conditioned which is essential in the summer period. The building itself is old and because it is so close to the ocean has wear and tear. That did not spoil our stay as the room was clean, everything worked, great shower.

beside the sea in Lacanau - it was functional. Staff were helpful and friendly. Room was basic but clean. As a single female I didn't feel very safe with the quality of the door and the lock on the room - it was warped and difficult to lock and close. the back entrance up the stairs was dark and not somewhere I would have liked to navigate alone.

It was the staff I really liked in this hotel. They were very friendly and helpful on lots of things. Oralina and there was a gentleman in the evening, who were very good and they are an asset to this hotel. Hotel is dated and needs quite lot to be done. They are lucky due to destination, but additional properties around them will pose an issue to the owners for continued business. I gave my most of the marks, due to the staff of this hotel. They made it worthwhile. As a hotelier, there are lots of things the owner needs to look at, if they want to continue their business. Otherwise, slow and painful demise of the business will start. Continuous improvement is a must

The location was wonderful, with a top floor corner unit with balcony looking out over the roof of the restaurant and the street and beach beyond. Parking was plentiful, though getting into it was tricky, if you come in from the north, as you must detour through the beach parking lot, then cross diagonally, somewhat against the oncoming one-way lane to get in. The staff was friendly and helpful and fluent in English. I loved hearing the waves crashing at night. The entrance is through the restaurant/bar, which seemed awkward, with the check-in counter at the end of the bar somewhat around a corner that helped it feel separate. Then the labyrinth...out the back of the bar through what could be a nice courtyard, but is mostly just a space for staff, then up some steps into an entry that could be a nice hotel lobby, but is only a storage area for extra furniture and equipment, through an unmarked door that leads to an old wooden staircase that has multiple turns, landings and doors leading to halls, and finally to the narrow hall with narrow room doors. The room was tiny, with just enough space to shuffle around the end of the bed to get to the balcony. The bathroom was elevated and had a zero barrier shower, but a slow drain, so with the shower on full the bathroom starts flooding. There were blackout curtains, but they were detached at the end and required closing the end in the sliding door to hold them closed at night. It basically feels like a hostel, but with a private room and bath...so, if you're young and agile with minimal luggage, this would be fine.

The location is perfect. The staff are helpful and friendly. I’ve stayed here several times and it’s excellent for a short stay next to the ocean.
