Everything we needed to do was within an easy walk at the resort. Breakfast was perfect, the crew was kind and so helpful with the exact way I wanted my eggs. I loved the room setting. If I could not make it outside it was perfect to just sit and look out at the beautiful beach. It also gave me faith in family again. There were so many families with small children that were being cared for by Mom and Dad. And young people said Hello and inquired how our day was going. I love that!the Gazebo/lounge was perfect, the staff seemed to look out for our comfort. We could have a few drinks and walk to our rooms with ease. And the scenery was so beautiful. Sunsets were spectacular this week. And I forgot, the cleaning person, she made sure we had the softest towels. Some places have bleached out stiff pieces of fabric. The bathroom was very clean. and the sheets were not scratchy. Lately we have found some places have less than ideal bedding. The toilet tissue holder was a joke. And the shower curtain was a wee bit short. And we could hear the whole conversation of the people in the next room. The young male child was very loud. Till 10:30pm. Turned the AC up in volume.

The beach and beach bar on the lake were fine. The main resort was nice and the indoor pool and sauna was nice. The staff on the beach and beach bar were excellent. Facilities on the main location was fine. The picture of the rooms on-line did not match the rooms we got across the street.

Location and availability of food Didn’t have coffee available And the free water jugs you couldn’t get you until 11 o’clock in the morning When I asked the front desk, they told me to go to Dunkin’ Donuts, which is a mile away for coffee or go to the restaurant which is $15 as soon as you walk in…seriously

Most staff are nice. Beach bar staff were great. Great location, close to many restaurants, grocery store, pharmacy. Room was big, comfortable and clean. I love the beach bar. Beach bar food could be improved, particularly the time it takes for food to be ready (took more than an hour on first day). Breakfast could be better. It would be nice if indoor pool water was a little bit warmer.

The staff was friendly. There was a variety of foods for breakfast. There was staff there that would make you an omelet of your choice. The air-conditioner was so noisy. It was hard to sleep at night. We chose the different modes but it still didnt help. You also had to turn up the TV to hear it over the airconditioner. It would have been fantastic if there was a balcony to sit and relax on .

Rooms were a joke for the price I paid, couldn't see out the windows. The TV was also a joke, couldn't be any smaller. No ice maker on 2nd floor. Not be allowed to check into room until 4 when you have to check out by 11, really! Also some of the bar staff at the kiki bar need attitude adjustments!!! See above!!! The breakfast buffet was top notch for the price and the staff was exemplary. The pools and hot tub and sauna were all excellent. Front desk staff were very professional and prompt.

The best part of the Margate is the service. The staff at the tiki bar is excellent. They are outgoing and friendly. Food is very good. Cheers to Anti, Nick and Carolina. It was our pleasure to meet all of you. The housekeeping and front desk were very nice as well. The fireworks for the wedding on site were an amazing bonus! We will be back!! Your friends from RI The beds are not super comfortable and they squeak when you get in then and whenever you turn over.
