Staff was amazing because of the staff I will be returning. The rooms especially the bathroom needs MAJOR updating though. A little dusty and bathroom not as clean as I prefer but the bed was made nicely.

It served the purpose for my boys and I to stay the night and shower passing through and ends there. Not bad place, just not up to my personal standards for extended stays.

OK, this place was amazing. They gave me cookies when I checked in and literally they have food for this cat that was hanging out in the parking lot. Literal cat food and water bowls. This is amazing and why I love Louisiana so much you people get it.

Great Bar. Wish it stayed open later, some nights.

All the front desk to restaurant/bar staff were excellent! Very helpful and spears ready to direct us all wherever we needed to go!

When I arrived, my room (king bed, corner room, riverview)had been given to someone else. The first two trips in the elevator up to the room and back down staff did not realize someone was in my room. I ended up in a room with 2 smaller beds for the evening. I stayed in that room for the second night so I didn't have to move my things only to have to return to the lobby twice with key issues again. The desk and employees were polite and courteous, however reservations apparently don't mean anything and the person making the keys needs re-training.

Staff at the front desk were excellent to deal with!

There aren't many "better than a Holiday Inn" level hotels in the area but this is one of them. They make the stay feel premium without any "snootiness". Nice pool with a riverside view.

Overall just an okay stay. Definitely could use some deep cleaning and love. Bathroom had mold inside the tub and around that outside.

Room was clean and staff friendly

No microwave in my room. Didn't realize that there was a fridge until my exit ( camaflodged behind a door that looked like 3 drawers, which I didn't use), NO COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST

Mr Chris the front desk manager had great people skills. The cleaning young man also had good people skills. The room was very clean and neat. The lobby was huge with restaurant and bar right in the open lobby for easy of use. The pool looked good too bad it was raining. I would 100% recommend and I will go back whenever I'm in Lafayette, LA. For $120 total per night it was the most upscale hotel for the price. This was for a Monday in the "off" season.

The Doubletree in Lafayette is always very clean. The staff is polite and very helpful. My room was excellent. I believe I was on the sixth floor very near the elevator, which is what I love! And again it is a great multipurpose hotel, it’s great for business trips, great for solo trips, and great for family trips!

The hotel is showing its age gracefully; well kept, clean and keeping up with technology. The surrounding landscape is still as artistic as ever, with large healthy old oaks on the property. The staff are very kind and make sure the customers needs are met while not being too pushy. The rooms are comfortable with nice size bathrooms and bathtubs. (We could have used an additional bath towel.) The beds were comfortable. Enjoyed our overnight stay!
