The beds were very short.. not a problem for me and my kids, but my husbands feet were over the end, and he's only 1.83.

The house was very nice decorated, i haven't stayed in a house like this yet. you could find in every corner another picture or sculpture. the host was very carefully, the dinner was delicious and we enjoyed the recommended wine. i couldn't get internet in our room. We coudn't use the garden because we stayed only one night and it was really could outside that day. Nothing else.

Unique setting and very interesting design and decor. Excellent location to explore Bourgogne du Sud region. Hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful with any questions. Having Hortense’s restaurant directly on the property was a huge added benefit… food and staff excellent! Wouldn’t change anything!

Absolutely beautiful, quiet, well located. What you dream Burgundy’s countryside is. We had best lovely dinner there when restaurant next door was closed. The owners are just really nice, passionate people from the areas who wanted us to have the best stay. Loved it! Truly nothing.

Beautiful place

Beautiful grounds and gardens, a skillful combination of old and new. Friendly hosts and first-class cuisine with a nice selection of excellent wines. Plenty of details to discover, even for children. Nothing.

Beautiful property the staff are friendly, nice sized gardens to wander around. Evening meal and breakfast was very enjoyable. We will return

Lovely place just a little difficult to find

We were warmly greeted and shown to our room situated just off the wonderful library. It was warm and comfortable and beautifully furnished. The house is magnificent with lovely artworks, lighting and objets d’art. We were served dinner in the library and breakfast the next day was downstairs in the breakfast room overlooking the garden. A perfect stay, thank you. Difficult to think of anything but maybe some larger, fluffier towels for the bathroom.

Very handy location for an overnight stop off to the Alps. Beautiful buildings slightly dated bathroom decor. We found the accommodation a bit chilly. An extractor fan in the kitchen would be very desirable, as the whole appartment smelt of cooking after we had finished making dinner.

Memorable and unique! The sweetest stop. Property and the owners are just full of charms.

Hortense was very responsive and flexible, despite our unintentional late arrival

What a beautiful property, lovely collection of buildings, great outdoor space. The property was originally a family home, now with guest rooms that are really like staying in a good friend’s home. The hosts are simply wonderful and nothing is too much trouble. Not too far off the beaten track but enough to sleep in perfect tranquility. Will definitely stay here again - if they have space! There was nothing to dislike.

Lovely property and great hosts. Room was comfortable and the restaurant owned by the hosts daughter opposite was superb with excellent food and a very well stocked wine cellar. We would highly recommend and will definitely be going back. Nothing

The overall site was a bit disjointed but the buildings were of a high standard. The restaurant and breakfast were excellent. Joining a lively restaurant with a fixed menu was perfect for weary travellers The gîte we stayed in was a little basic and the property felt as though it is towards the end of renovation
