You do hear doors slamming from other guests- inevitable for this kind of motel with lots of workers that stay, coming later or leaving early.

the room was a good size, bed comfortable, a little firm for some. the room was clean and well maintained. there is a pond outside our room with glass sides relaxing to listen to the water tumble & watch the fish. Interior was a little start with brick walls all round. all else was comfortable & acceptable to a quick break to catch up with friends.

Motel was in a good location for where we wanted. Local clubs within a short walk to grab a drink or meal. Shopping area & service stations only short distance away. Room wasn't very sound proof. General noise from rooms adjacent & below was quite clear.

The Motel was very clean, they were happy to replace towels daily, this is a big deal when you return from a day working amongst smoke and soot and wish to shower before bed and again in the morning. I was surprised not to have any plates in the unit despite a microwave however there were great dine out options nearby. The RSL and Wests club have excellent good value food.

Staff were very friendly and helpful before and on arrival as we were organising family coming from all different directions at different times to meet up in Newcastle for a 40th birthday party. Family rooms were very roomy and clean The hotel is within walking distance to the Cardiff train station which some family members were using to travel to and from Newcastle for the event, and also 100 mt from the Cardiff RSL where we experienced the vast buffet dinner for the party - No driving or taxis home required.

Everything needed such as groceries or takeaway within walking distance. Staff very friendly. Only stayed 1 night so didnt find anything negative.

The room was well appointed and very clean. The hotel is located very close to the RSL, Wests leagues and the bowling club which all have excellent dining facilities. Being situated on a busy main thoroughfare, the road traffic noise was disturbing.
