This is a lovely place to stay and I’m so glad we found it. Beautiful surroundings, deer in the lawn, efficient staff. Loved it!
-
Amazing communication, they couldn’t do enough for you. Loved the breakfast delivery. Inn is close to the freeway and there is a train that goes by, but not late at night. Beautiful location.

The only thing that wasn’t great was the breakfast, but that’s not a big priority for me.

I have traveled quite a bit in my 65 years and this is truly one of the nicest places that I have ever been to. The location is soooo convenient--just a turn or two and you can be on the freeway. But even though it has a close proximity to traffic, we were far enough away not to be bothered by noise. Our room was delightful! It was like a suite with a bathroom almost bigger than my first apartment! We also had a little seating area outside where I sat and read my book, drank a glass of wine and watched the deer in the yard. For breakfast you fill out a paper with lots of choices and submit it the night before. It was served to each individual room in a basket tray and was so delicious!! Nothing was too much trouble! There was plenty of parking and we never felt crowded or rushed. I highly recommend this inn for anyone going to Mt. Shasta, Lake Shasta or any other place in-between!

very well maintained B&B, nice staff, breakfast was good.

Really cute place! Super convenient to Lake Shasta. Lovely little room (Goldfinch) and such a nice breakfast.

Lovely accommodations near Shasta Lake. Disappointed by the quality of the bed and pull-out couch mattresses. Breakfast in-room was included and we were offered a choice of two quiches. I ordered the chicken and broccoli quiche and it was hardly edible and no meat inside. My husband and son ordered the Gruyère frittata, but were served the broccoli quiche instead and agreed it was disappointing. We ended up grabbing a fast food breakfast sandwich on our way south.

The Inn at Shasta Lake is a true hidden gem! The property is clean, charming, and tucked away in a peaceful setting, making it the perfect place to relax. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The resort is small, cozy, and has a warm, inviting atmosphere that we really enjoyed. If I had one suggestion, it would be to book one of the larger cottages next time for a little extra space. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the Shasta Lake area. We look forward to coming back!

Wonderful pre-checkin communication. Very clean accommodations. Lovely setting. Much more isolated than anticipated. We were tired after driving all day and didn’t realize there weren’t dining establishments close to the inn. You need to get back on the highway and drive at least 10 miles for restaurants. There was a pizza restaurant that delivered to the hotel which we opted for.

We stayed in the Hummingbird room and it was absolutely delightful! The room is spacious and so clean and comfortable. The garden view is superb and peaceful. The walk in shower and jet tub is luxurious. We ordered dinner and it was superb and very reasonable especially for the amount of food. The breakfast was delicious especially the overnight oats! Staff were very communicative and accommodating. I am so happy I found this gem in the forest. My husband and I will definitely go back for a longer stay!

Relaxing stay, appreciated in room breakfast. Would appreciate it if staff members were more friendly & hospitality oriented.

Our stay was amazing! We stayed in the Woodpecker Suite and loved that we had a private entrance and deck to enjoy the beautiful views. It was very quiet and secluded. We read that people have said the trains were loud but that was not at all the case at all. The staff communicated very well with the info we needed and the breakfast was great! Loved how it was delivered to our room in a cute basket. We are SO happy we chose this Inn on our way down to our destination. Please check it out-you won’t regret it! Thanks for a great stay! Nothing!

Great location for visiting Lake Shasta caverns.

Quiet, clean, easy access to freeway. Comfortable room, excellent food. We’d come again.
-
Very cordial and helpful staff. Lovely accomodation near, but removed from I5. Very nice room! Meals available where there is no nearby restaurant. Nice, but spicey Indian cuisine, and pizzas available. Portions very generous. The owners are doing everything to make a stay there as good as it gets. Nothing to complain about

I loved the room set up. The bed was very comfortable and staff was very friendly. They delivered us breakfast in the morning and was delicious
