The property is an aged property, but I was impressed with how much the motel tried to upgrade the stay. Though the walls need re-texturing and painting, the beds were great, the little things were attended to in the rooms. The upholstered furniture needs replacing and outside chairs were a hodge-podge of used chairs. The linens and floors were excellent. They tried really hard to make a silk purse........and so on.

The location and property are the only detractors. The rooms are really nice for a small family run motel. Definitely will stay again!

Excellent value for the cost. Old motel that has been refurbished. Large room ... it had a couch and easy chair. Clean and easy to access from I25. Only thing that bothered me was that only "Internet TV" was offered rather that cable TV or DirecTV. Not a biggie if you are just looking for an affordable comfortable place to stay for the night.

Good for a night. Owner was friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable. Room was clean.

The Palomino Motel is an older motel. The room showed its age, but the condition was good and the room was very large. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom and room were very clean. The refrigerator was considerably larger than usual. The owners have obviously updated furnishings in a number of ways. For the price, it was a great value.
