Like time travelling back to the 90’s. Whilst it was overall fine, it was clean and the beds comfortable, it’s seriously outdated the food available extremely average.

The property was amazing. Everything was great, except the plumbing needs some work in the room. The toilet would barely flush and the sink would make a very loud "glug glug glug" everytime someone else ran their sinks around me. But besides that the property was absolutely beautiful, the stores were awesome, and the staff was very friendly.

Housekeeping staff were very friendly and willing to help. We stayed in a resort tower renovated room and were very happy, there was a fridge which was helpful on the hot days to have cold bottled water. Lighting could be improved in the rooms as they were pretty low lit. The pool was alot of fun but drinks were incredibly expensive. Check in and check out were very smooth and the self used kiosks were quick and easy. Overall though we traveled with our 8 year old daughter and some people tried to make the excalibur seem like a last resort option to stay but we thoroughly enjoyed our time and amenities. Would stay again!

Waited over 3 hrs while gambling for a cocktail waitress to many kids running around in the casino food prices out of control I’ll never stay there again

My stay was very pleasant. The only complaint that I have is that I was given a room at the far end of a long corridor floor. By the time I returned to my room daily and rested and was ready to go gamble, the thought of the long walk back to the elevator was enough for me to just stay in my room and relax. Hopefully next year, I will receive a better room closer to the elevators!

Great hotel, great location too. It may be standard, but I was surprised I had to pay for self-parking, $20/day.

Stayed for 2 days in the renovated king suit. Nice bath tub and good ac!

  • Engine customer Aug 2026

This hotel is very outdated, cracks in bathroom tile, toilet chain kept falling off, pool area smells like sewer, tv cable is horrible!

  • Engine customer Aug 2026

1st room i was given smelled like smoke; maybe the staff could check room as they clean it, and notify the system that room is not fit for customers until the smell is dealt with. The 2nd room i got had only one issue, the toilet took forever to flush and usually required a second flush to clear it.

Television selection was awful, tv was HD capable, but only showed standard def programming, No gay adult content. Bathroom floor was slippery, no bathtub. The view was awful. The walk to the parking lot was almost unbearable. the drawers wouldn't stay closed

Upon arrival they herded everyone into the lines where you check yourself in. Everyone was getting frustrated, including myself. Then we had to make our own keys so you have to go another group of screens for that. I truly was irritated. Also, the casino at 10pm on a Saturday seemed dirty. There were other people's drinks and bottles piling up on the floor by the slots. I did see 1 man cleaning but he was the only person i saw. The coffee shop was closed too. Now I have been here to see shows and it seemed fine to me but staying there was a bit different. Also be aware that if your room is on the side where the tram is, it's going to be noisy til about midnight.

Great for a short break - the resort fee and tax was twice the amount of the hotels fees….just an FYI!!

The Excalibur Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas offers a functional, budget-friendly stay with a medieval castle theme, but it leaves room for improvement. While it serves as a recognizable landmark on the South Las Vegas Strip, the overall guest experience highlights a stark contrast between its morning dining and its aging accommodations. Here is a breakdown of what you can expect during a stay:🍳 The HighlightsGood Breakfast Options: The morning dining choices stand out as a bright spot. Guests can enjoy solid breakfast meals at the Excalibur Buffet or grab quick morning bites at the Dick's Last Resort or the food court.Affordable Three-Star Pricing: It remains one of the most wallet-friendly options on the Las Vegas Strip, making it suitable for travelers who only need a basic place to sleep.Prime Location: It sits at a major intersection on the Strip, offering easy pedestrian bridge access to New York-New York and Luxor.🛏️ Areas Needing ImprovementOutdated Accommodations: Aside from the breakfast, almost everything else inside the property needs significant upgrades. The carpets, furnishings, and bathroom fixtures in the standard rooms feel dated and show noticeable wear and tear.Average Customer Service: The staff performance is strictly average. Front desk check-ins, housekeeping, and casino floor service are functional but rarely go above and beyond to deliver a memorable or highly welcoming hospitality experience.Aging Amenities: The casino floor, elevators, and hallways r
