Perfect hotel

Staff is amazing, the pool was a great relaxing experience but you’d think Tahiti Village, they play up the Hawaiian theme and get some sort of island music playing. All over the pool for 3 days that’s all we heard, why isn’t there any music??

However, we were very disappointed in the constant sewer smell by Tower 1 and pool entrance. Throughout our entire vacation (including last year) at least two or three sections of the pool were closed. One day, everyone was told to leave the lazy river. When the girl (manager?) was asked very politely "why" she was very rude and provided no explanation. It was difficult to tell which chairs, tubes etc were available as the lifeguards were not picking up dirty towels, garbage etc. They spent ALOT of their time chatting and messing around. Guests pay ALOT of money to utilize ALL of the resort ammenities and expect a high level of cleanliness, order and superb customer service etc. Allowing adults to openly drink alcohol and leave empty containers is unacceptable. This is a family oriented property, not a party zone. The resort rules state "no outside beverages, coolers etc" and this needs to be enforced as there are many young kids. This property charges a daily resort fee and everyday large sections of the pool were closed and not ever opened. This is NOT a staffing issue. The lifeguards hanging around the lazy river ( 6 in towel shack) can be utilized in the pool area as well. Management needs to do a better job monitoring the lifeguards.

What we found were dirty carpets the same as our last visit. No maid service for a 3 day stay and worn out or old appliances. Tv in bedroom was very date, tvs needed batteries fir remotes and the shower caulking was moldy.

Property is beautiful. Suite was lovely and spacious. Full size washer, stove, Price was reasonable. Downhill from there. From the parking deck there is a long argeous walk, WITHOUT carts to carry your stuff. Bro! The hall is a long, long walk. Then a long hall way to get to room. Then on checkout day there was a long line of families waiting for the elevator. I ran down the stairwell to wait 30 minutes. Then I found a cart. Nightmare! We chose this for the hotub that closes at midnight..man oh man it was hot hot hot water, but that's the point! In retrospect, We didn't use it as much as we thought be sure at night we want to party in Vegas 😂 we did use it for an 35 minutes. The check-in was not pleasant nor fun. The lady kept trying to sell time share, which we declined. Told us we could not upgrade to pool view because we were not owners, but pics show pool view. Then she said she will check to see if they were available, went behind the wall, we saw her standing there 😂 and then came back "out" said I checked and it was not anything available since you are not an owner. Such a joke. We looked at a dirt lot the whole time. Also we asked for a late check out. Not granted because you guessed it, we are not owners. The cleaning staff was very kind and it took us 45 min after checkout to leave our room and they told us take our time because they understood how impacted checkout time is .

I also would recommend that they add more bathrooms to the pool area. Especially the lazy river. Kids cannot get to the bathroom without a key card. And if kids can’t get to the bathroom easily, you know they’re gonna pee in the pool. If the barbecue meal kit is not available, please take down your sign offering it. That was a big disappointment, thinking we could do that for dinner one night. If gaming is not available, please take down your sign indicating that it is. For the most part, we had a great day. I would still return if we ever come back to Vegas. I especially appreciated how we were able to get an early check-in. The late checkout was not available, which was a struggle because our flight was so late.

Hot water in the shower changed to cold suddenly. And we didn't know we had to request service in order to get the room cleaned up.
