Located in the seaside town of Rayol-Canadel-sur-Mer, Les Terrasses du Bailli is an art-deco hotel only 656 feet from the beach. It offers contemporary guest rooms and a outdoor swimming pool, which is heated according to season. Each air-conditioned guest room at Les Terrasses Du Bailli features either a balcony or a terrace. All rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV, a courtesy tray for making tea and coffee. A buffet breakfast is provided every morning and can be served on the terrace beside the swimming pool. A bar is also available on site and meal trays can be prepared upon request. Guests can also enjoy the spa facilities upon reservation at The Domaine du Bailli. With free outdoor parking and underground private parking at an extra cost, the hotel is 16 mi south of Saint Tropez. Toulon-Hyères Airport is 17 mi away. The 3-star hotel brings together a superb villa from the 1930s, dating from the origins of the village of Rayol-Canadel, and a new adjacent building. The establishment is renovated in 2023 by the architect François Champsaur who restores its original character to the Terrasses du Bailli.

location room was not as good as other rooms i ve booked there in the past with a large terrasse with sea view. this time around sea view was limited

Loved the beautiful landscaping, the spacious and comfortable room, and the stylish, minimalist design. The kind staff went above and beyond to help us charge our electric car. Nothing - it was perfect!

A bit hit and miss about advice of where to eat/options of dinner or lunch in evening. May have been a mismatch between expectations/language barrier.

I have stayed here before, and the rooms are nice and clean and comfortable. Staff is very helpful and one young woman remembered me from last year. I can't remember his name, but the French man that checked us in was extremely helpful. If you're not a light packer, like myself, there are some rooms with good views upstairs, but no elevator. Although, the man that checked us in was a huge help with the luggage. There are also rooms on the ground level that have nice terraces and easy to get to.

Only negative which made the facilities unbearable was the air conditioning in room 626 was very poor and couldn’t keep the room cold, so room was always too hot and could not sleep as a result.

Room was laid out with thought usb near bed etc), the view was terrific. Its close to a fantastic restaurant and the beach, cycle lanes etc. loved the nature noise at night. On check in I was told that there was really not a restaurant on-site (not a ‘proper one’) and suggested I eat elsewhere. There was a great place nearby but maybe not 3 nights in a row. Turns out there is a restaurant on-site after all. Breakfast stuff was pretty much gone by 9.30 so get up early if you want to eat!

Breakfast was very good, the location and views were superb, though walking to the nearest (two super restaurants) involved a short but arduous steep hill. No flat surface in the room – not even a chair. Plus attention to detail not always great (e.g., liquid soap dispenser was never reinstalled after we asked).

Excellent location close to the beach, amazing sea views, comfortable beds and pillows, breakfast exceeded our expectations, we highly recommend the hotel. Nothing, extremely happy with our stay.

Beautiful hotel, low-key and relaxed. Very nice staff and fantastic position overlooking the bay. Take mosquito spray!
