The staff was great. They helped accommodate my complicated schedule. The location is also nice.

The reviews said the breakfast was worth it. I would strongly agree. A short walk from Bio Coop.

Location, close to Mont St. Michelle The shower is very uncomfortable, and you cannot shower without holding the shower head, as the holder is broken.
-
A basic hotel with a basic breakfast. Sadly the days of fresh croissantes and baguettes from a nearby bakery are past

The location and on-site parking General feeling of poverty and neglect. The landing lights didn’t work during the day plunging the passageways into darkness. Quite unsettling. The breakfast cornflakes were soft and a black-brown banana was the only fruit in the fruit bowl. The prettier three-star hotel next door was only about £25 dearer and would have been a better choice. The receptionist was pleasant though.

Straight forward, clean and good value.

Very good

The apartment smelled not that great ? Air quality was not good enough.

Booked as I had a medical procedure on my eyes which prohibited me from driving for a number of hours afterwards. The hotel and its location were ideal for the purpose. Unfortunately the room smelled of a smoker having been there before us. No doubt he or she opened the windows to deaden the smell but it hadn’t removed the smell. My only complaint for an otherwise pleasant stay. A kettle and a couple of cups would be a nice addition. Even bringing your own tea/coffee etc would not be a problem if there was at least the kettle etc. in the room.

very aged, not too clean, especially the carpet

location the room was dated. the shower was a challenge. took about 5/6 minutes for hit water to arrive even though the signs said to conserve the water!!! grip for shower was broken. no floor matt. parking area not secured. breakfast: all good until I cracked open the first boiled egg! looked very dodgy to say the least! stale? tried another one.was ok. receptionist was very friendly. allowed me to bring my bicycle into the lobby. had been there about 6 years ago. hasent moved with the times. won't go there again! was nice after 6 days camping but was disappointed. ?. Barcelona town!

Nothing really.

The room and en suite were clean, slightly on the small side and you couldn't open the wardrobe door if the bathroom door was closed (although) once you realise this it is not a problem). Breakfast was good with lovely home made jam and plenty of bread and croissants etc, Parking available and within walking distance of the hotel. Located just at the war memorial in Avranches so very good location. A little shelf beside the bed would be good as there was only one of these at one side of the bed and most hotels during the trip had at least something at either side of the bed - I had to put my watch on the floor.

Disappointing

Not a great deal Noise, from others, doors banging We were on front so traffic noise. Unfriendly and rude staff. Leaking water from toilet waste onto bathroom floor. Wifi only in reception area Badly in need of update. We have stayed there before on 2 occasions a few years ago but we will not go back again

Location Was not clean, hair dryer didn't work as it was dummy. Awful smell in corridors.

Lovely hotel, a bit dated but it's an old building so really anything modern looking would look out of place. Our room was next to the lift and overlooked the car park but honestly, the only "noise" we heard was the water feature next to the car park below us. Easy to find in the little town. This was only an overnight stop so can't go into detail about the surrounding area, although just a stones throw away, there are memorials relevent to WW2 and General Patton. Breakfast was fine and the staff friendly and helpful. For an evening meal, we visited the Trattoria Patton about a 2 min walk away - can recommend this place as well The only thing we would change about our stay was the size of the shower cubicle - luckily the taps were "turn" style ones rather than controls that you move up or down as that would have meant water being shut off/hot/cold mid shower. But it was manageable.
