The Breakfast - it was nothing short of a culinary delight. A gourmet spread of locally sourced, fresh ingredients, lovingly prepared and beautifully presented. -

Antonietta e Gianni had been superlative since we booked the room until we arrived. Not only that: the customer support exceeds the actual staying as they where super open, transparent and willing to make our stay as smooth as possible. From asking were to change money, which is the best places to buy pizza, cloths, places to visit and what to do in Lecce and the whole Salento region. The human aspect of their involvement on everything they did plus the help with my poor spoken Italian make the staying a great place to recommend. We even had to stay longer than the original staying and they helped us to book another place when the extension was not possible. Small, cozy and comfortable. The fact that the shower is way different from the ones we used made us bath with cold water the first times but it was on us because we didn't know how to use it.

The property is very clean and comfortable, the host was extremely gracious, breakfasts were wonderful, and the location was an easy 20-minute walk to the historic center.

This hotel provided wonderful personal service, the breakfast was catered to our wishes and everything was delicious. Parking is on the street but there is always ample room to park. The location is easy to find.

La signora Antonietta is very hospitable and friendly, and bakes yummy local specialities for breakfast! She kindly accommodated an early breakfast as we had to leave early. Rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable. Highly recommended. Will certainly come back and recommend to family and friends.

The hosts were so kind and gave us everything we needed and were available at any time we needed them! The breakfast was so lovely, the room was fine for the stay and it was a short walk from the city center. Would recommend! The wifi didn’t work in our room and the water pressure wasn’t very good either. But all in all everything was nice and these things are wuickly forgotten

We stayed at Briciole di Gusto for 4 nights, using the city of Lecce as jumping off point to explore the coastal towns and beaches of the Salento region of Puglia via a rental car. I can't say enough about our wonderful hostess, Antonietta, and her hospitality. The room was large and comfortable (there were 3 of us) and immediately reminded me of my grandparent's place in the province of Verbania. Every morning Antonietta prepared us breakfasts to order, featuring her delicious home baked goods. I happened to mention my son's upcoming birthday and she went out of her way to bake him a birthday cake, which she presented to him with 'happy birthday' playing in the background. She and her husband also prepared us a last minute pasta and salad dinner one evening, although one typically has to put in an order that morning. This was much appreciated as an alternative to eating out at restaurants every night. Antonietta was a great source of information, helping us navigate our way around the city and, very importantly, directing us to a local medical laboratory where we were able to get tested for Covid (mandatory for U.S. citizens traveling back to the U.S.). She was also kind enough to lend us a beach umbrella so that we did not have to buy or rent one on our visits to the beaches. All around great experience!
