Mercure Hotel President Lecce

Large and clean hotel, close to the center, large rooms The bed and linens are good and so is the cleanliness. The rooms are quite old, even though it said they were renovated rooms. There is an old floor carpet made of pieces that move a little. The room door is not soundproof and you can hear the hallway. The shower door is also sliding and old. The shower is old, there is a narrow shower stall and there is no place to hang towels or swimsuits.

Very close to city center. Room size was adequate. The staff were not very helpful. Breakfast needs improvement.

We loved that it had private paid parking in the garage below which made coming and going much easier. This is a nice hotel with kind staff, a very good buffet breakfast that is well attended and it is very close to the historic part of town so it’s walkable. This city has everything you could want from sightseeing, to fine dining to lots of shopping. We did take the time to drive to a few nearby towns but were happy we’d chosen Lecce as our base. Everything was fine

THE PARKING FACILITY WAS UNDER THE HOTEL AND THIS WORKED OUT WELL. LOCATION WAS OK. ABOUT 10-15MIN WALK TO HISTORIC CENTER. BREAKFAST WAS JUST OK. WI-FI WORKED WELL. WHEN WE LEFT, WE NOTICED SHOWER DRAIN DID NOT WORK AND WATER BACKED UP INTO SHOWER. FORTUNATELY, THIS DID NOT HAPPEN UNTILL WE LEFT THE HOTEL.

Great location close to the old city and to everything else and with parking. Nice breakfast buffet. Friendly staff. Parking garage is a bit messy with cars blocking you, although staff is quick to assist.

The dinner was very noisy

Although it did not affect us in any way, some people might not like the busy atmosphere with bus tour groups and conferences.

This is essentially a business hotel. Nicely appointed with large comfortable rooms. The breakfast room and food a little industrial. Like a college dining hall. Taxis difficult to get from this hotel.

It was an excellent location near the old town. We appreciated having parking available. The room was quite warm.

The Mercure Hotel in Lecce is very well located, only a short walk from the historic centre, making it an excellent base for exploring the city. Our room was comfortable and spacious, which we really appreciated. Breakfast was adequate, though it would benefit from having a proper coffee machine to enhance the experience. Overall, the impression was that the hotel could use some updating, but the location, comfort, and friendly atmosphere still made our stay enjoyable.

Very clean and big room,very good location,breakfast like breakfast regular and not wow,omelette cost extra money Some stuff want to relocate me for other room after I do one more night booking same category of the room that makes uncomfortable because I don’t understand why they need me relocating if I booked absolutely same category of the room

Run down rooms with dirty carpets, elevator broke down several times during the 2 days stay. It needs investment to take advantage of its great location

Location My room was too noisy (room number 226) This is only issue we had but the rest was acceptable

Good location, good parking, nice staff, great included breakfast We liked everything, the door knob was broken, but did not seem to effect the lock
