A beautiful villa, felt like staying in a home from Succession!
-
was an amazing old style house with a large bedroom and bath. breakfast was a simple italian one and we were greeted every morning by their very friendly cat and dog.
-
Beautiful villa and nice people, but honestly, the breakfast was very disappointing

We travelled as a couple, with our dog and car as part of a one month trip to southern Italy and Corfu. This was the most comfortable bed we slept in. Pillows and linen superb. The house is very comfortable, the pool was wonderful especially at the end of a day of sightseeing. The grounds are large - great for wandering around with the dog. It’s very peaceful. The walk into Lecce is 25 minutes - good exercise. We found a superb restaurant in Lecce in a quiet courtyard with excellent food- la Corte dei pandolfi. It’s an old house and the plumbing and Wi-Fi reflect this - you just have to accept it!

It was calm and peaceful place to retreat to after exploring the sights of Puglia. A home from home. The room and bathroom were spacious, the bed was extremely comfortable and the air conditioning was invaluable.
-
villa on the outskirts of lecce, about 30 minute walk to the old town. Room was spacious, clean and nice and quiet. Staff were all very friendly We had hoped to use the pool but was pretty run down and didn’t look clean

So peaceful here, we enjoyed relaxing, swimming and reading in the garden, listening to the birds. The walk into Lecce was 25 mins, not the best pavements in the world. There is a great local restaurant 5 mins away. Nothing.

The house is beautiful, it could use a fresh coat of paint, but other than that it really is beautiful. A house with history! And it is located in a little oasis right outside the historic center of Lecce. The breakfast was nice and served outside. The WiFi was not great and we would recommend to change the mattress of the bed.

Ambience, pool, atmosphere

unique and beautiful place. Relaxed atmosphere, great service, you do not notice other guests, private, friendly staff, intimate place everything was superb
-
A little far out of town if you don’t have transportation

The Relais is as you see in the picture. It’s an incredible place, lovely decorated with unique pieces of art. The garden is huge and nice to wonder around. The shower in our bedroom was a bit small and wonky and the pillow could be better. Either way, no big issue

The location, cleanness, and the atmospher of the main building and the garden At first night we arrived we had to stay in a room (building 2 room number 3) which had nothing to do with the standard room photos in booking.com. The room was dark because of the small window it had. When we wanted to change the room, the responsible personnel Alexandra reacted as if we were creating problem without any reason. We just wanted to stay in a room which we saw in the photos. In this room change process she acted very rudely in general, even shouted sometimes. She only spoke italian although she understood what we said in english. even she tried to find the root cause of the problem in “where we are from” and she said she did not have this kind of problems with the italian guests. If there is a policy for this facility to accommodate only italian guests, it should be clearly indicated in booking.com.

Beautiful setting Good pool- especially in this hot weather spell ? Spacious rooms Lovely old chateau Distance from town Limited taxis for commute Initially, staff were very welcoming but were not available when we had questions, needs Ineffective air conditioner in bedroom No glasses or kettle provided Water one temp - cold No facilities for refreshments Fridge in room not efficient We left one day early but the management would not consider a discounted rate. ?
