La Finestra sul Convitto B&B

Host was kind and helpful. Room was comfortable, attractive, clean and had lovely light. Location was near the train station as well as the sights to see in Lecce. It was a bit noisy at night as there is a restaurant below and many people linger in the area until well after midnight. If you were a light sleeper, this could be a problem. I was okay with it.

The property is in the old town of Lecce. accessible to many restaurants and cafe’s, just a minute out the door as well as tour meeting places. It is also about a 10 min walk from the train, very easy to find. The home is very clean and our room tidied up while we were out. Breakfast consists of Lecce pastries, yogurt, cereals, fruit, coffees and juices. Water always available as well as the use of a refrigerator if needed. Highly recommended! Antonio was charming, genuine and calm. The cappuccino and breakfast was lovely, as well as meeting other international guests. The location was amazing and you are steps away from the best bars: Cafe Letterario and Quanta Basta. We were a bit confused initially about parking (we were looking for a parking lot; but it was street parking-show up with coins to pay), but then it was easy. We would 100% stay there again! nothing-it was perfect

Excellent choice of accommodation in Lecce. Well appointed and comfortable B&B. Location in the old wis perfect and an easy walk from the train station. Antonio is a gracious host and breakfast is scrumptious too. We loved our stay in Lecce in great part to the wonderful accommodations of La Finestra.

The location was terrific for all the sites. The host was great and very accommodating. As it was the low season, there were no other occupants. I felt very safe in the area. I liked the property, but if you are wary of stairs, this would not be for you.

Antonio, the owner and manager, is such a gentleman, kind and pleasant. He makes sure that our stay was pleasant and comfortable. Nothing. If I have to mention, there were noises from the street at night that may affect to a degree.

The breakfast was a typical Italian breakfast. Yogurt, pastries, fruit, juices, coffee, cappuccino, cafe There was nothing not to like. The whole space was well done and updated,

Antonio is a marvelous host and gave us a terrific welcome. The room was light, airy and spacious. Separate toilet and shower made it easier for two people to use the room comfortably. The B&B is immaculate and the breakfast was excellent. The entrance was a bit hard to find but Antonio met us in the street and was able to direct us easily.

Antonio was a gem and Barbara kept everything in tip top shape. Everything was thought of and from the room to the bed to the breakfast, it was all perfect. It felt very safe and welcoming at the house and I met a number of great people during breakfast in the morning. 10/10 I would absolutely stay here again and will tell any of my friends traveling to the area. Antonio was a great host. Upon arrival and WhatsApp messages, he met us in front of the BnB to help carry our bags up to the BnB. Each morning he had a nice European breakfast waiting in the breakfast room. His English is limited, but with the translation App. on our phones we had no trouble. The morning we departed, we had an early train to catch. He met us in the breakfast room to help carry our bags down to the main floor and offered to drive us to the station. Note: the station is a straight shot up the street and an easy 10 minute walk even for us oldsters. Thanks for the nice visit. It seems all European bathrooms never have enough places to hang towels.

Exceptional

Bright and beautiful room with an impressive high ceiling and elegant decoration. The area is a bit busy but that didn't disturb our sleep at night. Comfortable bed, spacious bathroom. Antonio, is a very helpful and kind host! Arrivederci, ti aspettiamo in Grecia!

Lovely clean room in the heart of the of the historic district. The tall ceilings make the room feel even bigger. It was lovely and light. Despite being in the middle of all the action it was quiet and night. Comfortable bed and pillows for a good rest after a day of sight seeing. Antonio was so welcoming and helpful and have us lots of good tips. Nice, traditional breakfast of pastries. We loved our stay and would recommend this property to others. Thank you!

Wonderful and accommodating hosts. Very nice, comfortable B&B close to the churches that make Lecce a must visit. Breakfast of local pastries and the best coffee in southern Italy. Clean and quiet, welcoming rooms, with elegant bathroom and shower.
